hi guys, does anyone have any details about rush for this play?? any details will be appreciated, tnx!
GENERAL RUSH TICKETS
A limited number of general rush tickets will be sold for each performance, on the day of the show only, when the box office opens. Rush tickets are priced at $31.50 and can be purchased by cash or charge at the box office. On 2-show days, rush tickets for both shows will be sold at the time of the box office opening. Seat locations for rush tickets will be at the theatre’s discretion. Each patron in line may purchase a maximum of one (1) rush ticket.
You didn't ask, but if anyone cares I walked by around 10am Sunday, no one was there. Showed up an hour later and was third in line. Got a seat in the front row house left - perfect for this show.
I'm sure the rush line will get busier when word spreads - it's only just been announced. I sat in front row Sunday just gone and the audience were lapping it up. I think on balance the reaction at the Music Box was more ecstatic than when I saw it at the Adelphi. I'd be astonished if James Corden & Oliver Chris aren't shoe-ins for Tony nominations in their respective categories.
Any news on it more recently? I think it may get pretty popular after the opening tomorrow
I tried on Saturday and again on Sunday this past weekend and was not able to get rush tickets either day. Both days I showed up about 25 minutes after the box office opened.

I rushed it last Saturday; arrived at about 8:25 a.m., two people ahead of me. By 9:30, there was a long line stretching down to the Imperial. I'd advise arriving at least an hour before the box office opens.
I'm going to try to rush it tomorrow. I predict that the line will get pretty long so I'm going to try and get their by 8:30.

I don't know if it will help you because weekday/weekend is usually different, but I went this morning around 9:15 and there was only one person in front of me. By the time the box office opened, there were 15-20 people total.
Just so other people know, I got there around ten til 9 this morning and there were maybe ten people in front of me, which meant I got a good seat, since Saturdays are two-show days.
Is this the show open ended? I really wanted to see it but I'll be back in NYC only around October/November... I'm not too confident it will be open by then.
The box office opens at 10 Mon-Sat and noon on Sundays.
According to an article I found, the show is currently set to close September 2, when Corden has to leave for his wedding and other jobs, but "if a surefire star replacement for Corden can be found, it will continue."

Has anybody tried rushing post-Tonys? I'm curious what the lines are like these days.

The show hasn't even had a post-Tonys performance yet! Give it a few days.
I'm heading out to NYC next week and am very interested in any updates in regards to the rush line for one man, two guvnors....looking forward to your comments! Thanks

My friend went today and got in line right around 7. Said that the next person came 5 minutes after him, but then no one else for about a half an hour. He said that he thought most people got tickets, but in order to be 100% sure arrive by 8-8:30. Keep in mind, this was a 2 show day
Great, thanks for the info! How was the show?

Rush Report
Cool website. Though according to it, there were 350 people in line on the weekend? Somehow I doubt that's true considering the show is playing to 80% houses.
I saw that...I'm sure its a typo and should have been 35!
(And just because they have tix, doesn't mean they sell them all for rush.)
Does anyone know how the rush has been lately? Also where are the seats located? Thanks.
