looking for an opportunity to see new theatre before it hits Broadway. Does anyone have some recommendations?

Boston's ART will have 3:

Six
Dave Malloy's Moby Dick
1776 revival

Of course, no guarantee if either of the last two will make it to NY

Chasing Rainbows at the Paper Mill Playhouse, September later this year

Mrs. Doubtfire in Seattle, November later this year 

Girl from the North Country in Toronto, September later this year and the West End, December later this year

Once Upon a One More Time in Chicago, April 2020

Most of these just are rumored to be Broadway-bound so far, except Girl from the North Country, which has the Belasco in February 2020

Obviously it could still change, but Roundabout does already have 1776 listed on their website as coming in spring 2021 at the American Airlines.

Edited to add: from the blurb on the RTC website it looks like there are plans to tour this production between ART and the Broadway run, as they list NETworks as a co-producer with an announced stop at the Ahmanson/CTG.

I didnt realize this was Roundabout connected - but now vaguely remember it was going elsewhere.
