Just in case you didn't catch the three other times BOB posted it...
Marissa Jaret Winokur should never have been on Broadway but even worse is Sean Puffy Colms...this is possibly the worst casting ploy ever.

In my humble opinion, soon to be Fiddling on a Roof after being a Dancing Queen, David Ayers is sloppy, with no energy.

bleck.

whoever said that marissa jaret winokur shouldn't have been on broadway needs to go away.

besides the fact that she is cute as a button, i saw hairspray twice with her in it and she had the whole audience captivated and recieved standing ovations both nights.

and besides, she beat bernadette peters for a tony. that's something.

wickedfan - Who were the horrible performers in Carrie? As far as I can tell, the only horrible people associated with Carrie were Terry Hands (direction), Debbie Allen (choreography), and Alexander Reid (costumes). The sets were not bad, but could have been better. Book and score only needed some minor tweaking (including the replacement of Out For Blood).

tkts - Why should Disney not be on Broadway? They are legitimate producers with highly successful shows employing hundreds of people and entertaining millions worldwide. They staged 2 shows based on films and one original musical. I really don't see the problem.
