How was rush this morning?

So now Broadway will have three actors from The Bear and two actors from The Pitt this spring.

There were 19 in line when the box office opened today.  I was 5th (arrived at 8:38), and I got front row orchestra (said to be one of the last $45 seats, with more discounted at $79).  The seller said the front row may miss Lithgow's face when he's sitting at the desk, but maybe I'm tall enough.

Did anyone see the first preview last night?

This show may have stopped doing the TodayTix rush.  There was nothing about it on their page this morning.

I'm sorry for Dead Outlaw.

The CD is scheduled to release today, but I've only seen it on the Rhino website.

Does anyone know which shows have sent scripts to the Tony voters this year?  I'm especially interested in if any musicals have done so.

I greatly underestimated how much people liked Death Becomes Her.

I'm disappointed by the lack of support for Operation Mincemeat.  In addition to being a delightful comedy, I think the story it tells and the way it tells that story are what we need at this time in history.

After seeing today's matinee, I'd like to see Jeremy and Bonnie do a full-scale production of Sweeney.

Purpose placed LaTayna Richardson Jackson, Harry Lennix, and Jon Michael Hill above the title for opening night.  They are considered in the leading acting categories.

Whoops.  I guess it got jumbled with the Stranger Things opening, which was on a Friday.

How is the line for the box office opening?

How many people are in line now, and how quickly is the line moving?

JGJ getting designated for Lead Actor is absolutely the correct move and I’m glad that it happened since, as of right now, he is my strong favorite in that category.

Also, and perhaps most important, DeWitt Fleming Jr. getting the consideration for choreography alongside Rickey Tripp for AWW is absolutely deserved. That man put in WORK and I was surprised he didn’t have a co-choreographer credit (I don’t mean the small print “tap choreographer” one he does have), since they certainly had no problem listing 3 people for direction"

Did anyone see Nicholas & Sherie's first performance last night?

Has anyone heard anything about a cast album?  I asked at the flea market table, and they didn't know.
