Excited to celebrate, reflect, and close the door on this past season on Broadway. Here’s hoping this upcoming season is a much stronger one! Post your thoughts on the Tony Telecast and the performances!

Is that for the actual awards show?
I am watching on Pluto for "Act I" and CBS for the main broadcast.
Had to turn off the BWW stream as it just keeps freezing.

Did anyone else’s stream just start mid-acceptance speech for Best Book of a Musical? 😡
Was there an opening number or anything I missed?!

You missed the opening monologue. Best Book was the first award.

The opening number will be on the CBS portion at 8:00pm. This is “Act One”, doing the awards they don’t (but should) air on the regular telecast.

I was wondering the same thing. Not crazy about what he is wearing and having them all showing. That's just me.

I feel like this is indicative of a Schmigadoon Best Musical win.
