Anyone starting to prefer bootlegs over cast recordings? Mar 4 2026, 01:39:54 PM
I hardly listen to cast recording at all anymore.
The only cast recording I've listened to in the past month has been the Dead Outlaw cast recording, most other shows I love I listen to an audio bootleg.
Most of the time it's the instrumentals for me, sounding quiet and boring most of the time. Sometimes it's the vocals, most being mixed to sound dead, and trapped almost.
I've listened to audio bootlegs and watched bootlegs ever since I got into the theatr

The Rocky Horror Show Playbill Design Mar 4 2026, 11:50:23 AM
For the past 3 years before my dad passed in September, me and him would always find midnight screenings of rocky horror and local productions and drive ridiculous hours just to see them. The audience participation was always key to the entire thing both times, with the shadow casts and the actors on stage eating it up every single time.
I know it's not the film and audiences should, y'know. Use proper etiquette. But also, this should be expected from the producing team and tho

2026 Tony Host Rumors Mar 2 2026, 11:30:14 AM
I'd like to see Billie Joe Armstrong do it. But every year I say Billie Joe Armstrong, it's never Billie Joe Armstrong.
Come back to Broadway, Billie Joe. My ex-hot topic employed self needs it.

Those aren't bad, much better than the 250$ I almost spent for the last row at MCR Nashville. Dynamic pricing is still of the devil and we should eat the people who invented it.

I underestimated your game, Moulin Rouge.
I genuinely thought it'd be Weird Al, with his tour schedule starting AFTER that time, but I have been overtly humbled.
Take all that money and run, Moulin Rouge. You've outdid yourselves.

2026-2027 Season Tour Launches Feb 25 2026, 10:51:46 AM
My local PAC has been getting more union tours lately, albeit split weeks, but union nonetheless. What bugs me however is the limited amount of shows we get, with us only getting four shows this season, stretching from December to June.
I think the numbers are there for more, but a lot of these places either don't have the faith, or do it to save money.

OH, MARY! is running to April, I'm not sure if they'll be extending but if they are I do hope Mason jumps the pond a bit to do it here in the states and then much ado. She's done everything BESIDES Broadway and it n

I'm curious what you think is wrong with the Adelphi? I saw Kinky Boots there three times. I thought it was a decent theatre.
There's a lot of things wrong with different theatres, it's just preferences and whatnot. I used to think the August Wilson was a butt****ing ugly theatre

Las Vegas is a bunch of pansies, they need to force the regular season holders and the general public to see this. It would be so funny to see their reactions.

Broadway needs to open the doors earlier Feb 4 2026, 08:12:15 PM
can you guys act like adults and stop arguing over literal 15 minutes? It’s February, it’s gonna be cold. There’s stores on every street, there’s restaurants you could pretend to take a piss and waste your 15 minutes there.
It takes two minutes to look at the weather, plan accordingly, and leave when you think is the proper time so you get there when the doors open.
Read a book, do your dishes, listen to primus, get a hobby, do anything that&rsq

When I was in the city I chose fingerless gloves and hand warmers. For me it's highly better than regular glov
