No, they really couldn't have. RWHC's number was 2 minutes and 28 seconds. Just in Time ended at 2:38. A major problem with most of the numbers were that they were so rushed. RWHC in particular could have used more time to breathe and come off less frantic. (For those who think they should have done the title song, it clocks in at 3:46. How were they supposed to do that and provide the necessary context for why these women are taking their clothes off so it didn't seem exploitative?)

Those non-nominated shows also received less time than the nominated shows, most of which got three and a half minutes. Audra got 4:10.

Or just maybe, we could have skipped Hamilton and give new shows a chance to be spotlighted. 

What a shame that Boop didn’t get a slot at the Tonys- Jasmine deserves a showcase on national TV- she sounds fabulous. This is one of the best OBCR I’ve heard in a long time. 

Does anyone know when opening night is? I want to go at the end of previews when the show is frozen.

I just hope the reviews are decent. Is it a perfect show? Absolutely not- but it’s fun, mindless night of theater. Jasmine Amy Rogers is a star!

The staging is fine- people are fools. He mentioned that it wasn’t nervous laughter, too. And I know I’m old, but it still boggles my mind that people haven’t read the book and are shocked at the ending.

That said, I find his clap backs a bit unnecessary.

As of right now, there’s no exclamation point next to tonight’s performance- so I’m not so sure if she’s out or not.
