The Lightning Thief is by far the worst Broadway show I have ever seen. It set a new low bar for me. It made the other shows I considered the worst prior to seeing it look like high art.
"There’s nothing quite like the power and the passion of Broadway music. "
Not on there, but Soul Doctor. Hands down worst Broadway show I've ever seen and in the running for worst show I've ever seen period. Any show that includes a moment where the leader of a synagogue gets fired and another character comments "And another rabbi gets nailed" instantly moves to the top of the list.
it wasn't on Broadway but...the Diana DeGarmo/Ace Young production of JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAST was truly the worst thing I have ever seen.

If THAT was the worst show you’ve seen in the last ten years then you must not have seen much. I loved that show, fantastic performances in a top notch production.

Maybe it's because I am pretty familiar with the story of Farinelli, and so the fact that they didn't actually play any music that Farinelli sang and the historical inaccuracies bothered me. That, plus the terribly hammy acting of Mark Rylance.
Wonderland IMMEDIATELY came to mind. That was one of the worst shows I have ever seen. Being in the cavernous Marquis with basically no set didn’t help it either.

Oh, yes. I almost blocked that out of my memory, but yes, that's the worst.
I voted for The Anarchist also. It was just god awful! I wrote in Outside Mullingar as one of my worsts. Insipid!
On the other hand, I was happy to see Fun Home and Hamilton on the Best list. I was especially pleased to see The Invisible Hand on there. I loved that play. I feel it didn’t get the attention it deserved.

Paramour- terrible book, terrible score, pointless acrobatics including a neverending finale, and the worst rhyme I've ever heard in a Broadway musical:
"We're in a tangle/It's a love triangle/Cause three is one too many"
