Hey Broadway Legends! Who's still out there from those of us who joined in 2003 shortly after Rob brought up the site? Check in please! Anyone out there from the Broadway.com forum that was shut down? And then remember we all came over here and signed up as a group?
It’s shocking to me that it is going on 22 years. Have seen a lot of people come and go. Some I wish were still posting/sharing and some I wish would leave and not come back under a new alias time and time again.
I've mostly been a lurker, but my goodness the amount of time I've spent on this board since I joined. I was just thinking the other day about some of the posters who no longer post here. This can be a wild place, but after almost 22 years, I can't imagine life without it.
I am not a member of the "original cast" exactly, but I joined immediately after the site became known to me by a friend sending me a BWW article. I had been going to Playbill.com, Broadway.com, and TalkinBroadway.com almost daily since high school, and somehow had never come across BWW during its first year. I was a senior in college when I joined, and here I am twenty years later. It has become such a part of my daily routine, and such a reliable way to alleviate boredom that I visit this site at least once a day.

Wow twenty years for me. That’s insane. So many great posters are sadly gone. Sadly so many crap one’s still here. Hopefully here’s to another twenty!
me, since June 2003
I was a year late. Obsessive visits to all the theatre sites back then. Not much has changed, I guess. ;)
Hiiii. Been here since ‘03. I discovered the Broadway.com very close to its ultimate demise. There was also a very small Sondheim message board I used to frequent for a minute but I can’t remember the name of the site. Then I moved over here. Very grateful! Although I haven’t been able to edit posts for most of my time here.

I have stopped contributing to discussions, but I still read every day. BWW has been a chapter in my life, that’s for sure. I’ve been a subscriber of theirs longer than TV Guide! 😆
21 years for me. Still wondering what one has to do to become a Broadway Legend :)
I just love seeing all the responses! Thank you all you've really made my week 💗 💗 💗 💗 💗 💗 I posted obsessively for almost 10 years and then I didn't visit at all for another 10 years. If anyone remembers the Broadway quiz from the early days I used to write that 😃

Holy Jesus, I’ve been on here since 2006! That’ll be 19 years I’ve been a solid a**hole to most on this board. Proud of my long-standing commitment.
I found this site in the fall of 2003. I was planning a big trip to PA and NYC. I sat and read the threads for a few hours a night almost every night just getting information for my trip but also enjoyed the wealth of information about the theatre itself and all of the goings on in NY and London. I finally joined after my trip in the Spring of 2004.
From around 2008 to 2010 I covered theatre in Denver for BWW, moved back east, worked on and off-Broadway ( A life long dream) and moved back to Denver. I have met some BWW members in person over the years. The boards have changed and I don't comment as much as I used to but...I'm still here! 21 years!

Guess I've been here since 2006 - wild!!!
There are a lot of people I miss, especially Whizzer...., Wickedboy, et al
1/1/06 -- freshman year of college! Not quite since 2003, but still have seen how much this board has (and hasn't !) changed throughout the years.
Been here a long time, and I mostly lurk (as you can tell from posting count). I do visit almost everyday and catch up with the news even though I'm on the West Coast.

Yes, those were the days! What a time to be alive! I always looked forward to DollyPop’s posts…such infinite wisdom and insight into the most obscure shows.
Gosh, I've been here since 2003 too. I don't know how I got that profile pic, though, as I never chose it. It somehow changed at one point. I hope everyone is well and I'm still in Sydney, Australia. :)

Javi!!! I was thinking about you. So glad to see you're still out there. Do you remember the joke about Fresca? Javi is like fresca, sometimes he's missing for a while but he always comes back!
