A lot of family and friends in town over the past few weeks and the majority were interested in seeing Just In Time b/c of the Bobby Darin concert of it all, not because of JG. I think producers (and honestly, good for them) are able to rely a bit more on the show selling itself, rather than just Morrison.

Also I think he'll be great if it is true.

Jeannette was stunning in Girl From The North Country. Those vocals + Bob Dylan were one of my fav theatre experiences in 20 years.

Just grabbed mine too. This is definitely the piece I am most excited about for the spring. I thought Aimee's concept album from a couple years back was excellent.

I know it is early but any rumors on casting? These roles are so rich.

All this talk about Inside Your Heart when they also cut Dance With Me and Another Dead Cow. 

Happy to see this adapted, but what a perfect vehicle this could have been for Carly Simon.

I feel the whole thing serves to set up the ensemble-like nature of the show. That said, maybe due to my seat or the sound design of the show, I could barely understand a word during those numbers. Unfortunately the sequence took me out of the world rather than brought me closer to it.

I can see this pulling in a few Golden Globe nominations. I'm assuming they keep Groff and Radcliffe in different categories.

Any words from the first previews? Really enjoyed the promo single they have been pushing.

Ingrid's score might not be traditional musical theater (very little of it advances plot), but damn does she hone in on the emotional truth of the characters. These actors really run with that blueprint and are doing some exceptional work on stage. 

I wonder how it would be to only listen to the score without seeing the production. I could see how it might not resonate as much.

Any updates about the film adaptation that was announced last year?

Always surprised that this play isn't produced more.

I'm dreaming of Sarah Paulson and Robert Downey Jr. He has the charm that the role really needs.

Any word on Aimee Mann's "The Forgotten Arm" adaptation? I'm still waiting for some sort of out of town tryout.

Interested in how a younger Sister Eloysius changes the power dynamics with Liev. With zero disrespect to Tyne Daly, this is a fabulous last-minute replacement.

Universal Orlando just announced a huge expansion. If the film is a hit (I'm sure it will be), I'd bet that we get an official ride (flying in bubbles, riding on broomsticks...). They could cash in on merch for years and years.
