I don't know if lightning can keep striking at the Ambassador, but Ciara Miller from Summer House could be in the conversation. She also was announced for Dancing With The Stars this fall. Same trajectory as Ariana Madix and Whitney Leavitt.

Is Effie considered a lead in the stage version of Dreamgirls? Only have seen the movie but I remember JHud winning for supporting.

Wouldn't have minded seeing Melissa in Rocky Horror and Stephanie in Titanique. 

There is so much joy (and pink!) in this production. Jamie Lloyd definitely has some more tricks up his sleeve than his previous NY offerings may suggest. Really hope that the entire cast transfers.

Would love to see this come back in 10 years with an updated song list.

A lot of people have been waiting for James Marsden to do broadway since Hairspray. I actually think he would be great in the Billy Zane role. 

S2 of Paradise is most likely complete since it premieres next month so he might have spring/early summer available.

Yesterday was a holiday for a lot of workers :)

Saw Brandon last week and he was fantastic! The original four were also on and equally great. Was a little worried that it would show in their performances (and their voices) that they had been doing the show for several years, but not the case. The cast and the show are such a treat.

Any word on replacement cast? 

A lot of family and friends in town over the past few weeks and the majority were interested in seeing Just In Time b/c of the Bobby Darin concert of it all, not because of JG. I think producers (and honestly, good for them) are able to rely a bit more on the show selling itself, rather than just Morrison.

Also I think he'll be great if it is true.

Jeannette was stunning in Girl From The North Country. Those vocals + Bob Dylan were one of my fav theatre experiences in 20 years.

Just grabbed mine too. This is definitely the piece I am most excited about for the spring. I thought Aimee's concept album from a couple years back was excellent.

I know it is early but any rumors on casting? These roles are so rich.

All this talk about Inside Your Heart when they also cut Dance With Me and Another Dead Cow. 

Happy to see this adapted, but what a perfect vehicle this could have been for Carly Simon.

I feel the whole thing serves to set up the ensemble-like nature of the show. That said, maybe due to my seat or the sound design of the show, I could barely understand a word during those numbers. Unfortunately the sequence took me out of the world rather than brought me closer to it.

I can see this pulling in a few Golden Globe nominations. I'm assuming they keep Groff and Radcliffe in different categories.
