RENT: Filmed Live on B-way!
 Feb 10 2009, 10:51:43 PM
I bought the DVD: Rent on Broadway the other day. I wanted to know is the DVD the same as the actual show? It seemed like there was very little acting in it and there was a song every second. But if you have seen the show live and saw the Broadway DVD is it the same?

"I think we're starting up Hunchback of Notre Dame, hopefully, next year. Rumor has reached my ear that it's happening." For the present, he's making an opposite carryover than Zambello: "I'm doing an opera, and we're doing a reading of it under the auspices of an organization called American Opera Projects next weekend. It's based on the film, 'Seance on a Wet Afternoon,' with Kim Stanley and Richard Atten

The Wiz Audition
 Aug 26 2007, 02:39:28 PM
Hey Broadwayworld people. I'm auditioning for The Wiz in September with True Colors Theater Company (Kenny Leon is the artistic director...famous for Directing many movies and musicals such as Raisin in the Sun) and I am auditioning for the Scarecrow and I'm having trouble picking a song so I need some help. Should I sing:
Dancing Through Life (Wicked)
Endless Night (The Lion King)
Family (Dreamgirls)
Thanx

The Lion King Kids Height Limit
 Jul 7 2007, 05:54:29 PM
Don't you think that they should change the height limit for The Lion King Kids? I mean I auditioned for the show twice but they didn't accept me because I was only a inch above the height restriction. The maximum height is 58 inches. I mean I know they don't want the kids taller than Mufasa or Scar but if you're only like 2 inches above than I think that you should be able to be in the show.
