Parade Ending Question (Possible Spoilers) Oct 3

Hi everyone! I don't usually post on here but I had a question for those who saw the original production.
My brother and I saw a college production of Parade yesterday (which was fabulous) and were blown away by the music and story.
We were wondering how the original ending was staged. This production ended with Frankie putting on what looked to be a white robe then pushing through the crowd upstage. After the final note we see Frankie in silhouette wearing a KKK

-Billy Elliot Cast Rcording -Playbill Binder -Spring Awakening and Jersey Boys coffee table books -A Chorus Line and Young Frank. Souvinier programs -Xanadu Opening Night Playbill -DVDs of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Carousel, Oklahoma, State Fair, West Side Story, and A Chorus Line. I think that was all... I plan on buying a couple of more items online soon though Happy Holidays, BWW!

I have many favorites...but to name a few... The Wedding Singer- signed by the entire OBC (including ensemble) The Drowsy Chaperone- My first Broadway show :) Gypsy- signed by Patti Lupone Xanadu- (my favorite musical) signed by Kerry, Curtis, Tony, Mary, Patti, Kenita, and Andre. <3

For some reason I really love when those bright lights come on during "Dawn" in Jersey Boys. Very unexpected, yet very cool. I also love the disco balls at the end of Xanadu...perfect ending!! Oh, and pretty much all of the effects in YF were spectacular.
