re: 'A Change in Me' for a Boy - Audition Song??

I think the main problem I'm finding with the song is that it is hugely overdone by females. Oh well

Will Grey Gardens air on PBS?
 Jul 2 2007, 10:27:47 PM
I am curious. Do you think this is a possibility - for it to air on PBS or come out on DVD? It's obviously too soon to say for sure, but I hope it will.

Your thoughts?

re: how is the rear mezzanine at beauty & the beast?

Sorry, but in the Lunt-Fontaine, mezzanine seating is not very good. Orchestra is a much better way to see the show.
re: beast transformation...

Sorry, not to be rude but when I saw the show I thought the effect was barely entertaining and very obvious. Am I the only one who thinks this? Maybe it seemed too simple because I was sitting very far back in the theatre but to me, it just looked like he threw his costume off and had a second costume under it....

Legally Blonde would be one of the easiest of all of the Broadway shows to do 8 times a week. It is so happy and fun, and is emotionally fun to perform. Other shows like Grey Gardens are EXTREMELY tough to perform 8 shows a week.

In YOUR Opinion, Best Songs for Females
 Jun 29 2007, 10:49:21 AM
In your opinion what are the best songs (for whatever reason) for females?

Mine: (in no particular order)

"I'm Here" - The Color Purple
"The Movie in My Mind" - Miss Saigon
"Nobody's on Nobody's Side" - Chess
"Another Winter in a Summer Town" - Grey Gardens
"A Change in Me" - Beauty and the Beast
"No Good Deed" - Wicked
"Dance of the Robe" - Aida

Now your turn.

Which do you prefer - Miss Saigon or Les Miserables?
 Jun 27 2007, 10:19:25 PM
What are your thoughts? These two shows are both sung through completely and are composed by the same person.

I personally prefer Les Miserables. I'd be interested to hear what you think.

thanks

re: How about Alice in Wonderland as Disney's next project?

I doubt it would have very much success -- not popular enough among children.
