Chevstriss, do you have any specifics for a Toronto production? ie. where and when? I've been waiting for this to come to Toronto for ages, but haven't heard anything.

The day after the review came out, there was an article in the Times that mentioned that Samuel Anderson would be joining the cast soon (which apparently he has now), but I seem to remember the article mentioning someone else was leaving soon. I can't remember exactly and can't find the article on the Times website. Does anyone remember or know who's leaving, or if my memory is just completely shot?

During the Posh song, he honked that horn that he pulls up from the orchestra pit at me. Jumped about a foot in the air, but it's such a fun show. Definitely a guilty pleasure.

That car is magical no matter how you see it. I saw one of its test runs before a show from onstage with just the regular theatre lights on, and it was still awe-inspiring. But I apologize nonetheless.

The first time I saw the show it was the weekend after it opened, and the whole place burst into applause the second he entered. I was surprised on Thursday night when no one did.

We were in Orchestra row M, left side. I loved being far back because the last time I saw it I was second row, and you could see the lift used to fly the car because you were so close. It made it slightly less magical. But only slightly:)

I took my family to the show on Thursday, and even my dad, who hates the theatre, LOVED her, so I figure that's pretty huge.

In Chitty, Jan Maxwell's deadpan "Oppsy daisy" after she accidently shoots the guard while cleaning her gun. Her comic timing always amazes me.
