So…apparently Kristin made a comment about how a now-deceased conservative firebrand is in “heaven” and the internet (Reddit/Twitter) has not taken too kindly to it. Does anyone have thoughts on this because this feels like another Scherzinger situation brewing.
Frankly, I’d kinda like to know what she exactly agreed with him on, since I can’t recall any of his positions being exactly friendly to the fanbase she is trying to court for her new show.
(Trying to phrase this as delicately as possible)

Kristin said "I'm headlining a musical at the St. James, might as well have a Red Cap incident of my own."

To me, Kristin Chenoweth reminds me of my mom and any average middle aged suburban white woman that doesn’t like violence and wants to see everyone getting along. They are open to voting for both sides and blame both sides when things go wrong. They are not necessarily partisan people

What did this deceased firebrand do to earn a place in heaven?

It's a white Christian nationalist heaven. You wouldn't understand.

Queen of Versailles should move to Kennedy center at this point

The tolerant left just can’t let a good assassination tribute go to waste. They absolutely obliterated the comments section of Brittany Johnson’s post.

Y’all on the Right really high five yourself and think you ATE with the term “the tolerant left”, don’t you? I mean, the “Fk your feelings” crowd sure does have a problem with their feelings getting hurt this week, it seems.

The past 24 hours have really shown that we didn’t just eat, we dined. And continue to!

Tolerance is not a virtue bestowed on you by existing, you earn it. He's the man who said that Black women lack the brain capacity for college admission among a litany of other ****. I'm not celebrating his murder, but he is now a statistic he stated was worth it for the Second Amendment so he should be proud about that.

Her direct quote is:
“I’m. So. Upset. Didn’t always agree but appreciated some perspectives. What a heartbreak. His young family. I know where is now. Heaven.”
EYE ROLL.
she appreciated some of his perspectives? Which ones??? The man’s rhetoric was divisive, racist, xenophobic, and extreme that put people’s lives in DANGER

Violence of this kind is abhorrent. So are these views of Kirk.

TF is Brittany Johnson??
Yeah, coming to a gay and trans-friendly board and expecting us to weep with tenderness over someone who once stated that we should be stoned to death is pretty stupid. Seconds before being shot he was stating that trans people cause mass murder. There does come a point when empathy gets exhausted. Sorry if that clashes with your expansive, sensitive view of the world and people.

Also worth nothing, Kirk thought Empathy was some new age concept of the last decade so let's not give him something he doesn't believe is real.

Ain't nobody in this thread being "intolerant." The mouth breathers apparently think "tolerance" means "I will never say anything negative about you." Nope. It just means I put up with your bullsh** because I share a planet with you.
Of course, the low IQ troll will never understand.

I am now imagining Kristin performing "For Good" at the funeral. After reading that, it now seems plausible. Sad.

Contrast that with the orgy of empathy and understanding from "the tolerant ones" if Biden appeared in public like this.

there's speculation that he had a minor stroke during is disappearance. he's not well and Cheno, IMO, was always a MAGA.

Chenoweth has always supported queer rights and actually said she couldn’t support the Republican Party until they did too. Shes a true ally. What she said is in line with how most every other straight white woman in this country feels.

You would be incorrect about that one. Men like that are completely terrifying to many, many of us straight women.

If you’d read my post with a critical mindset, you’d be able to infer that I was talking about quizking’s comment regarding “the internet (Reddit/Twitter) has not taken too kindly to [Chenoweth’s words]” and how “they” also didn’t react well to Johnson’s post. I said nothing about anyone on this thread.
At the risk of stepping into ad hominem here… maybe you’re the low IQ one, since you didn’t catch that.
And I’m a firm Randy-Graff-in-Mr-Saturday-Night-level nose breather, thank you very much!
