Durham is the first announced location for the Just in Time tour. Matthew Magnusson (Jonathan Groff’s understudy) went to Durham for the season announcement and sang a few songs.

Note that Groff is performing in Stratford-upon-Avon from 26 September to 7 November 2026, and not London.

Fisayo Akinade is playing Celia, with no other cast members announced yet.

Just in Time is sold out (full company).

Groff had a scheduled vacation all week.

The latest rumor is that Morrison is doing Just in Time and will follow that run with another show.

Sweaty Oracle said months ago that Carell had dropped out of the production but at the time it was still planning to go ahead at Circle in the Square with Paulson. No updates since then from him.

Groff is out 13-18 January and Matt Magnusson will be on.

Sweaty Oracle on Instagram saying he will announce the next two replacements for Groff tomorrow. 

He says Jonas will go in after Reeve/Eva.

Sweaty Oracle says Joe Jonas is going into Gatsby.

There is a weekly thread on Reddit’s Broadway board which includes estimated recoupment percentages and which shows have already recouped.

Just in Time was expected to announce it has recouped in November/December, so it should be soon. 
 

Krystal Joy Brown (Gussie) has expressed her disappointment with her role in the film.

Watching the film now…wow, I am disembodied voice a lot…. You really miss “the work” 🤦🏾‍♀️ woof. Great. I barely finish a sentence on camera which is devastating as an artist. Wow. I am still very proud of my work because what moments the director allowed me to keep in her edit, I did the best I could with. I mourn the loss of the deep complexity of #Gussie.

Groff was back in the show on Tuesday.

He is out 13-18 January as his only scheduled vacation. 

Matt Magnusson’s first show in the role and started mid-show as Groff couldn’t continue. Groff also out of the evening show.

Screenwriter Isaac Oliver will write a revised bio for each person in the role. Understudy Matthew Magnusson hasn’t gone on yet.

A producer is now promoting this show as ‘Broadway bound’ on social media. Opening is tonight.

The first screening of the proshot/film is at the Hamptons Film Festival this Sunday. Director Maria Friedman is scheduled to attend. 

The show moves to a five performance week in February (Thursday to Sunday).
