I am so happy for Kendra Kassebaum. I am glad she is able to do something other than Wicked, even though she was the best Glinda I ever saw.

No. Brooke Shields is playing the role originated by Lolita Davidovich in the film.

I think any no-name actor like her or any other, would die to be in Wicked, so now is a bad thing to be cast in Wicked?

CarlosAlberto, Kassebaum is sort of playing the Winger role from the film.

For the musical, the character has been re-named Sam and is now Jonas's sister in addition to his partner in crime, not just his friend.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Um, I think they were referring to the fact that she played the role for a very long time.

I think any no-name actor like her or any other, would die to be in Wicked, so now is a bad thing to be cast in Wicked?

She did a long stint on tour (1.5years), 2 stints on Broadway (1 year & 9 months), Opened in San Francisco & just left after 16 months.

All together she has been doing the role of Glinda for 4.5 years.

I think she is probably very grateful to have done a successful show like Wicked for so long in so many different venues. I was just saying that I was glad she is able to get to do something new to change things up. As much as she loves the role of Glinda, I am pretty sure she would like to do at least a few new roles.

I really didn't like Kendra in the reading. Hopefully her performance shapes up some for LA.

This probably doesn't mean much coming from me, but I have to say it, Raul is spectacular. If you get to see this, consider yourself very lucky.

Well, there's the Deputy and the Sheriff, two different parts. The Sheriff has been previously played by John Dossett, so if they're sticking with the approximate ages, Jarrod Emick is probably playing the Deputy, Wayne Storm (previously played by Stephen Plunkett.)
