Anyone know what the nut is?

If that's true, that's sad.
With AI in iffy territory and the possibility of this closing, my daughter's Kids Night choices are getting fewer and fewer.
And at this point at least, I refuse to see "Spiderman."

Posted: 9/9/10 at 12:28pmIsn't Kids Night October 31? If N2N is closing in January, that's still an option. And even if AI is struggling at the moment, I think they will make it at least through the winter and probably close in January.

"Next to Normal is a Kid's Night option?"
I was thinking the same thing. I don't think either Next to Normal or American Idiot are appropriate Kid's Night on Broadway options.

You know, a mailer- those paper things that the show mails out, with discount codes and whatnot printed on them? That I just toss from my mailbox into the recycling bin? A mailer. (Flyer? Brochure? What do y'all call them?)
I didn't even think anything of it, I'd figured that date was known and I'd just missed the announcement, until a friend who also got that mailer was all "wait, when did N2N announce it was closing?"

Posted: 9/9/10 at 12:59pmHa. I know what a mailer IS. I've just never gotten one for a Broadway show. (As in, actual show on Broadway, not "best of Broadway" type things from local presenters.)

Ha- I was worried, I was all "have I been calling it the wrong thing this whole time?" But yeah, I get them for Broadway shows all the time, I think it's a living in the tri-state area hazard. :)

I wouldn't necessarily call it a Tri-State area hazard. My family never got said mailers until I started seeing shows on a regular basis. Now, between now and April, I get about 30-40 mailers.
I think Telecharge sends them to people who are frequent customers of theirs.

I was thinking the usual Kids Night in February and since the age range is 6-18, the shows span the spectrum. She saw "Hair" this past year.

Per Telecharge, they aren't selling past 1/2.
However, that could just be the cut off for this block of tickets, but take that for what you will.
