According to some posts over on ATC, rehearsals to begin in January at the St. James.

I hope they can reassemble as much of the City Center cast as possible. As great as LuPone was, it was the entire cast that made that production so memorable.

at least now we dont get to see GREASE performing at the TONYS to fill slot for the Best Revival in a Musical.

YAY. This sucks a bit for SUNDAY though, revival wise. Because GYPSY will still be playing during Tony time, and it's very unlikely SUNDAY will renew through June.

Could this be Patti's 2nd Tony?

You have to consider that City Center has at least 600 more seats than the St. James so the attendance figures would appear skewed.

That has happened -- A Moon for the Misbegotten was revived this year, despite last playing on Broadway seven years ago.

If so.. How many months would they perform here on Broadway before going to London? 4-5 months? - would that be enough time to recoup all the investments...

I would love to see Patti LuPone though. I miss her at City Encores last Summer..
Actually I like anything GYPSY ! I just wish they revive something that's never been done for like years and years ..like The Apple Tree & 110 in The Shade from last year.
