I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Aaron Sorkin is working on a facebook movie, but by the time it comes out, do you think it will be outdated as well?
myspace the musical could end up being a lot more than people think, or it could just be crap. Only time will tell. I wish I could make it to one of the readings to find out.

I don't have a lover, and I'm not a writer.
I just love new musicals. And I like the sound of this one. You can have your own opinions on the music though.
as far as having a woman play the role or not, I don't know what they plan to do. Ask them.

true, there is already several Peter Pan musicals out there. But this one sounds like it could be really new and exciting. they have 2 tracks up so far. I really like the sound of the song Neverland.

dramarama2, what have you heard from their Peter Pan? I've been trying to find stuff from it online, but I'm having no luck.
I like some of their myspace musical stuff. I think the opening number is incredibly catchy. But they're being pretty secretive about their plans for the show. I'd really be interested to see how it translates to the stage. I myself love me some myspace/facebook.

I just saw on their myspace page that they'll be at the duplex on November 2nd and 3rd. they haven't announced who's performing yet. Anyone thkink they might go? I'd love to hear how it is, as I won't be able to be out there at that time.

they just posted a new song called In your Heart.
the composers write very beautiful music. It's not so much catchy as it is soaring. It's very Light in the Piazza. I wonder what they plan to do with this. I haven't heard any plans for the show?
Anyone heard anything I haven't?

hey, I just got done listening to a couple new songs from top 8, the myspace musical you should check out.
Signing up! and Behind your Profile, also check out the rap song they posted. it's called Play Your Game or something like that. I don't know about y'all, but I would really like to see this! Any word on it? It says it's coming soon.

And there IS a MySpace Musical. It's called top eight. And I think it's ACTUALLY happening. Like for real. i like the songs, but I have no idea what the story could possibly be about. Unless it's like a revue or something.

that's an interesting comparison. although they do have quite a following it seems, so they might try putting it on the stage.
They have over 26,000 friends already
but they could reach more people I guess if they made it a movie

I've always thought Newsies would work quite well on stage. It's unfortunate that it was a flop. It came out when movie musicals weren't so popular. If it had come out today, it probably would have gotten a better response. It's leagues above HSM in quality.
