Raul Esparza

I haven't ready anything about Raul since he did Twelfth Night. Anyone have any info as to what he's been doing. Thanks.
re: How is Equus onstage seating

I sat on stage, side view, Row A, and thought it was great. It's raised and is level with the mezzanine. It's a skewed view and you do miss a little, without a doubt, but I really enjoyed the experience.
re: Fringe Festival buzz?

Got to see I Love You, Petty & Favre which I thought was great. It's a touching story with lots of laughs written in an unusual style with really good actors. Give it a shot.
re: Fringe Festival buzz?

I Love You, Petty & Favre seems to be a pretty good one to see.
Another South Pacific cancellation question

What's the likelihood of getting a ticket for a Saturday evening performance after waiting on the cancellation line? If it's a possibility what would be the best time to get to the theatre. Any info would be appreciated.
re: How was Tyne Daly as Rose?

I have never been a Tyne Daly fan. Having said that, she was terrific in that role.
re: The Country Girl--Good?

It's a bore....definitely something to miss.
re: Paulo Szot and Kelli O'Hara

Many thanks!
Paulo Szot and Kelli O'Hara

Any info as to when he is taking vacation? (Kelli's has already been posted) Also, how long are they contracted to be in the show? Would very much appreciate this information.
re: What is your LEAST favorite musical ever?

Without a doubt Will Rogers Follies followed closely by Mamma Mia.
re: Broadway's Greatest Showstoppers

It was a wonderful event and the chemistry definitely is there between Raul and Kristin. Would love to see them in a Broadway show together. His rendition of the Soliloquy was terrific.
re: A Standing O in the middle of a show?

It was truly an amazing evening when Raul sang Being Alive at the first performance of Company following the Tony awards. Everyone was on their feet for several minutes and he was obviously quite moved by what was taking place.

' is it worth seeing Xanadu'-just for asking you should be gutted

It's definitely worth seeing....very entertaining and lots of fun. I saw it twice, once sitting on the stage and the second time in the audience. They're equally satisfying from a different perspective.
Almost an Evening

Really enjoyed this trio of one-act plays by Ethan Coen. Definitely recommended for an unusual theatrical experience. For more info, check out our blog.

re: Anyone seeing 'Almost An Evening'

I have tickets for the Sunday matinee. It does sound quite intriguing.

re: Ticket price increases at a number of plays

Unfortunately, The Homecoming has been doing business well below 50% for some time despite the fact that it's a great show. In addition, the average price for tickets sold is usually well below $102.50 with all the available discounts.
re: Ticket price increases at a number of plays

Those ticket prices have definitely increased and it's sort of interesting since they are not all doing such great business.

re: the homecoming stage door

The entire cast appears in all performances, including matinees. I have found that Sunday matinees are the best shows, darker and more "out there" than during the week.
re: Which TV celebrities would be great on Broadway?

That sounds like a great idea. I'm ready to buy my ticket.

Which TV celebrities would be great on Broadway?

I think Steve Carell has both the talent and star power to make a successful switch.
