I know that it's disappointing Norbert's television show on HBO was not picked up, but I'm thrilled that he is continuing to be part of this musical. This is also a terrific cast! What a coincidence that Kerry will be returning to the Neil Simon Theatre since "Hairspray" played there and it also had the same crew are part of the Broadway production.
I'm glad they're all continuing with the project. Looking forward to this!

^ I agree with you there. Aaron, Kerry, and Tom are also some of my other favorite performers.
I was taking a class 2 weeks ago down on 29th and I could hear Kerry rehearsing "Fly, Fly Away" while I was on a break from class. When I first heard the voice (of course I couldn't see her) I thought "wow, that girl is pretty good." Then, as I heard more I thought "well, she's REALLY good." Then, I actually recognized the song and thought "HOLY S**T, that's Kerry Butler!"

Is this the same show LuPone was involved with?
I'm so excited!
Yay! I'm excited.
Did they not announce who was playing Felicia Finley's role? Was that role re-cast?

So, according to ATC, Finley's role was eliminated after the Seattle tryout.
looks like 2/3 of Rock of Ages' female ensemble is leaving to join this show.
And much of Finian's Rainbow's male ensemble. The rest of them are in Priscilla.
Interesting that William Ivey Long is now listed as the costume designer, replacing Bob Mackie.

David Campbell includes the song "Goodbye" from CMIYC on his new CD ON BROADWAY available from Masterworks Broadway.

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
I feel like I've been waiting for this for EVER.
Can't wait.

No, to bad the eliminates Felicia's role.. I liked her 'You got to pay for love' song and little burstout at the end. Maybe it's just a ensemble rol now..
But, loving that the rest of the principals stayed!
I love "Goodbye" and David Campbell's verison is flat out great.
I hope this show is as good as we all expect. After WOTV I'm a little nervous about having inflated expecations.
Btw, while I love most of the casting I'm not a fan of Wopat. What he did to "Epiphany" was criminal.
"Btw, while I love most of the casting I'm not a fan of Wopat. What he did to "Epiphany" was criminal."
Boy, you're right about that. Then again, a good deal of that production was criminal.
Funny thing about Tom Wopat -- I know he can act. I know he can sing. I've seen him do both. I've just never seen him do both at the same time.
Really? He was the only good thing about A Catered Affair.
Oh! I'm sure he can do it. I'm just saying I've never personally witnessed it, is all.

The role of Cheryl Ann was cut from the show as a Principal role. It's now an ensemble step out type role.

Are you saying that the many of the Finnians Rainbow ensemble is in Catch Me and the rest of the Catch Me Ensemble is from the Priscilla cast or the rest of the Finnians Cast is in Priscilla?
