I think this was the pre-broadway poster for Wicked??? Might have given away too much of the plot.

- NYTimes did a profile of James McMullan about his posters for Lincoln Center Theatre, including a fascinating development of "The King and I"

- David Edward Byrd chronicles a few of his poster designs including "Follies" on his website.

- In the "Miss Saigon" documentary theres a section where Cameron Mackintosh talks to Russ Eglin about his logo/poster design for the show.

“Miss Saigon” - if done and adapted right could be an Oscar contender

“The Color Purple” - would be a great TV movie...maybe two parter.

“Carousel” - remake would be great

“Hello, Dolly!” - TV movie with Bette Midler would be amaaaazing.

Oh god with a simple post title like that I thought she tweeted something controversial and she’s the next one to be cancelled. 

She’s underrated!

Cue follow up non-apology tweet/post/video saying it was not her intention to hurt people / it was the actions of her youth / she has grown from her experiences / promises to do better, with an attached monetary donation. It’s getting predictable at this point.

Still confused about the actual name for the Helen Hayes Theatre. Second Stage website, Wikipedia, and the playbill for Lobby Hero have it as the Hayes Theater. Subsequent playbills and Playbill.com have it as the Helen Hayes Theater.

This does happen in other industries, for example Megabus always advertises their $1 seats, which does exist and in limited quantity, just to entice people to buy. 

Julian Marsh from 42nd Street? Or is he more of a featured role?

I’m tempted to say Fantine and Grizabella, though I know they’re featured, I feel their iconic status/songs often propel them to above the title credits for their actors.

1993 revival of My Fair Lady with Melissa Errico. All I’ve seen is Wouldn’t It Be Loverly from the thanksgiving (?) parade.

Did anyone see Shereen Ahmed as Eliza? If so how was she?

The long awaited revival of “Funny Girl” would be wonderful. 

Goodness that rendering of her hair is unsettling. It looks like a cross between a brillo pad and....lower body hair.
