Well, today was, how you say, exhausting.
This much heat should not be allowed ever.
Anyway, it was amazing to see these immortal beings materialize before me on the stage.
No, I'm just kidding. It WAS pretty awesome to see them perform. Sadly, Jesse didn't come to B Park...Wilson did his solo. It was good, but Jesse does it better.
The cast sounds amazing and Tracie is absolutely UNBELIEVEABLE! She is better than Frenchie Davis to boot (more on that later).
So the highlight of the day was the EXTRA special treat that Idina gave us (did someone tell her I'd be there!?) As if the heat from the sun wasn't enough....
I won't get too much in to that as I can't relive it right now....
Well, at the end of the day, I saw Rent. In a way it was the perfect closing. But it was also anti-climatic having just seen most of the OBC/Film Cast.
Anyway, I used to like Matt - but he seems bored in the role and, he was funny, but he needs to bow out gracefully.
Jay Wilkison - Roger Understudy - he has a great voice, very powerful. But his accent was weird and there were some things that sounded off (not vocally), just generally off.
Destan Owens (Collins) - GREAT "Cover you Reprise"
D'Monroe (Benny)- Love him, once again (third time seeing RENT, second for him). Same goes for Justin Johnston who is an amazing Angel. Second time for him.
Merle Dandridge is a great great GREAT Joanne. (Can you tell I'm tired).
Karmine Alers is also an amazing Mimi.
Kelly Karbacz - Maureen - In a word, she is a lunatic. I don't know if it is in a good way or a bad way.
Frenchie Davis - I guess I was expecting more. She was good. But Tracie rocks her.

Heh, maybe.
Most of them changed or threw something on ontop of what they were wearing.
The only person I "met" was Wilson.
Idina apparently was being mobbed by some press guy who pissed her off. So I heard.
Adam signed like for two people.
After the rehearsal, Idina walked to the side of the stage and Tracie came down front and was MOBBED by people.
Anthony was also mobbed afterwards, but he kept signing (even though the powers that be were trying to make him leave). I missed him, but it seems Wilson will be the hardest to get in the future anyway.

Today was THE MOST AMAZING DAY EVER!
From camping out in some shady parts of NYC to lining up with fellow RENTheads at 3am-to hearing the first sound checks shortly after sunrise-all the way to the Bryant Park performances... it was all so unbelievable.
I'm so glad I had my VIDEO CAMERA with me the whole time, I can't wait to edit!
So many of my dreams came true today... THANK YOU!
I CAN'T WAIT!

I didn't get to go the performance yesturday 
I would totally love to buy this but its a little out of my price range.
Saw the perfomance on the today show... It was awesome. Idina is soooo pretty. Taye is a very lucky man.

If anyone saw me...I was wearing a pink CBGB shirt and I had a giant green crayon.
Did the cast just run out right after TMOLM? Or did everyone get autographs right during sound check?
I was on the phone for like 2 minutes after TMOLM telling my friend that she just missed it ALL, I tried to make a dash to the back of the stage, and all I saw was Wilson, who left before I could get pictures of him. (I was actually trying to find Taye and Anthony because I missed them at Today...and Jesse wasn't there.:/) I was then informed by the lady there that the cast was gone and headed towards some general direction with cops. So I gave up. The Naked Boys were a riot though.
Didn't stay for very long soon after because I was dehydrated.
Someone from the Public was there...and they told me that tickets to See What I Want to See will be available mid-September.
