Can we do fantasy "if only" casting?
Mariah Carey, when she still had the pipes
Taylor Dayne, if she was five inches taller and ten yrs younger
Orfeh, if she was into being a replacement and a little less "good Witch" in her physical attributes
Sherie Scott, if she was currently jobless and into replacing Menzel, (a been there, done that situation)
Patti Lupone, an obvious choice across the board, if this was the late 70's, early 80's.
As you can see, I personally would love a warm, rich voice singing the songs. A voice that isn't earsplitting. Don't think it's going to happen with the rumours I'm hearing.

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Eden was offered the role and it's all pending Brooklyn's fate. Sarcastically, it would be fun to see Angela Lansbury and Julie Andrews do Elphaba and Galinda. I'll let you figure out which one I would cast as who.
