Thank god that someone is looking out for everyone involved with this disastrous experiment that they're pushing off as a "Broadway Musical".
Dan Choi must have tweeted about this or it wouldn't have happened.
NBC just announced on their 5:00 news that tonight's show is cancelled.
We'll stick with "indefinitely". It sounds more serious and dramatic.

God: "Don't thank me! I had tickets for tonight."

I know someone other than me is sitting here singing A Brand New Day right now!
Can you
Feel a
Brand new day?!

Well till Thursday anyway...
Aww...Let him have his moment. I doubt it will last long. Besides, it still doesn't mean he's not crazy. But as long as he believes in fairies, he'll always have someone to dance with him.

How long should the list of requirements take to fulfill? It seems like more than one day will be needed.

The Post updated that article and it now says that the show will re-open tomorrow.

Who are you addressing? I certainly have made no comments regarding your sexuality nor said anything about Tveit. The winkie face doesn't make it cute or okay.

Not as a homosexual slur. That was you.
From article:
Under the new plan, one offstage crew member will attach the harness and related cables, wires, or tethers to the actors, and a second stagehand will verify that the attachments are made. That second stagehand will then verbally notify a stage manager that the attachment is safely connected. The actor will also verify that the attachment is made. Previously, only one stagehand made the attachment; there was no second stagehand to verify or communicate with the stage manager, and the actor was not required to check his harness.
Do the teams at any other shows need to do this? Geezum, it seems like for all the harnesses and such at this show, there will be an awful lot of verifications being thrown around.
You'd have to ask DMM. He doesn't want the show to be safe. He just wants it to be closed.
My question is are they going to be able to do all of the things requested in the letter from the NYS Assembly by tomorrow evening?
I have friends that are on their way to a pre-show event that have no clue tonight's performance is cancelled. I just called them to let them know.
I'm not usually one to sympathize with the bridge and tunnel crowd, but I think it would for sure suck major if you were already on the train/bus/freeway headed into the theatre for dinner and such for this. I think some very angry and uninformed people are going to show up at the box office tonight.
Well, lead them to DMM. He'll talk some sense into them!
