"a scaled down version of the Senior Frogs locations that I have only seen in the Caribbean, Mexico and Puerto Rico. These locations are bars with minimal food service. The environment is geared towards adult entertainment.
This just totally confused me, which I admit is easy.

It shouldn't be confusing. From the link Liza posted, the Senor Frogs in Times Square had the appearance of a sit down restaurant. The Senor Frogs, that I am familiar with, in the locations mentioned, are BARS. Thus a scaled down version or a variation of their usual format, that I am familiar with. None of the Senor Frogs that I went into were ever kid friendly or a sit down eatery. BTW, I asked you in the other thread who that actress was?

"Maybe because Mr Roxy is a working class hero and not a snobby rich one percenter?"
Right, because his lamented Campbell Apartment with its mandatory dress code and overpriced cocktails is a place for Joe Schmoe to throw darts.
The confusion is stemming from the fact that people are using Senor and Senior interchangeably, I think.
The old New York is gone! You know, the one that never had restaurants close, Broadway shows only cost a penny, and Hamilton was just the name of that annoying Socialist next door who wanted to set up some insidious federal banking system that should just be left up to the states to something something and depleted my wife's account and gave her gout Wildhorn.
Maybe because Mr Roxy is a working class hero and not a snobby rich one percenter?
A hero? For what?

"A hero? For what?"
For sticking to his guns. For standing up for what's right.
I never tried the restaurant in question, and wasn't even aware of its existence. I try to avoid walking down 42nd Street altogether. The crowding is impossible, and it's as ugly as sin. In fact, the same could be said of the the entire Times Square area. What an eyesore!
Maybe you should avoid it entirely, and all the theatre therein.

I thought he already does that?
I don't like to see anybody lose their job but NYC kind of has numerous places to go and eat and competition is pretty big in that area of town.
I know where the confusion is stemming from. It's the pronunciation. There is no SENIOR Frog's. It's SEÑOR FROG'S.
Non-Spanish speakers have the tendency to pronounce the spanish word Señor as SEEN-YOR, because of this they sometimes spell it SENIOR because of the way they are pronouncing it.
The correct pronunciation of the word Señor is SEN-YOUR.
There is no such place as SENIOR FROG'S.
I think it was poorly designed. They needed a bar upstairs to draw people in. People don't want to be in a basement restaurant.
