Could be terrorism .  Could be weather.  Of course, the MSM is going ape**** , goin g for the scoop on no info yet.  All speculation.  Didn t an Egyptair go "missing",  similarly a few months ago, that turned out NOT missing?  Weird.

59 passengers and 10 crewmen. If it is terrorism, watch out.

"59 passengers and 10 crewmen. If it is terrorism, watch out."

What should we do different?

This is the world we live in, BUT these are the hands we're given. Use them, and let's start trying to make this a place worth living in.

That would require too much of us as a society and community. God forbid we all try to work together for the greater good.

If it were terrorists, I think it naïve to believe they are worried about the greater good.Unfortunately, these incidents will become more & more prevalent in the future.

Yahoo reports that that terrorism experts have intercepted intelligence showing terrorists intend to go forward over the next 6 months with a reign of attacks & bombings in France & Paris especially targeting large crowds. Does not look like they will to try & be reasonable.

I think it's more depressing that the world jumps straight to terrorism.

To Bunnie

MSN , of all news outlets, would be the last to suggest terrorism. To So Florida who asks what we should do differently? Let us do nothing. Let us sit back and hope none of us are a victim. Not exactly  a pro active strategy but in this day and age this is probably all we will get. It is sort of like being a duck in a shooting gallery.

It's not sad, it's real. Global acts of terrorism have spiked and we are at all-time highs. Nothing more to it.

If the plane were American, what would President Trump do? What would President Sanders do? And what would President Hillary Clinton do?

And which one would make the world safer going forward?

All great questions and things to ponder. We know Trump would start a Twitter War with the Terrorists first thing off.

Trump would call the terrorists "losers" and make threats to ban or expel anyone who might look Muslim from the US.  And that's about it.  The only accomplishment I could see him carrying out would be the swift and efficient removal of diplomacy and foreign relations from the role of Presidency.

I'm not a fan of Sanders, but in this case I'd trust him more than the others, because I think he would show restraint. And restraint in our reactions to these events is what is most needed. I fear that Clinton might use it as an excuse for military intervention somewhere. Trump might not, but I really have no clue what he'd do, and that's the scariest thing of all.

Restraint would really go far with those who might have done it.

We have no control over them; the only thing we can do is stop poking hornets' nests.

I wouldn't blame them if they did, but I don't think the world jumped to terrorism. The first I heard of it was reported on the news that Egypt had ruled everything else out.

If it was terrorism, where is the group claiming responsibility? You KNOW they relish in that!

Restraint? From the man who has been tacitly encouraging his supporters to commit acts of violence at state conventions and the national convention in Philadelphia?
