Finally!!!!!
The only thing that I care about is:
"The previously announced production of Noises Off has been postponed to Fall 2015."
Smart for Roundabout to open this in the spring. I assume they are already considering Kristin's Tony buzz.
That logo though.
I, too, am disappointed about Noises Off. Sure, Twentieth Century sounds like fun, but I was really looking forward to finally seeing a production of Noises Off, especially with Andrea Martin in it. I just hope she is still attached to it after this rescheduling.
OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!
I have been waiting for this for years!
Everyone was thinking she'd do Dolly so I had kinda given up hope.
But now I'm PSYCHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CATS, where' the logo? I don't see it.
Meh
Yay!

we've waited long enough that Kristin is now old enough to play Imogene Coca's character!

Hell, Kelli O'Hara is never gonna get that Tony, is she?

Sometimes, a star seems almost too well suited for a role, to the point where I feel I can almost envision his or her performance. I hope to be proven wrong; I hope she can manage to surprise me with her performance.
Thanks ljay.
It doesn't compare to the original's artwork, which remains one of my favorite all time posters.
Wow, I'm bummed about Noises Off. I have tickets for it but I guess I can exchange them for something else. Boo.
Let's cast Letitia Primrose.
Obviously, Andrea Martin comes to mind.

We hope the LOGO changes, as sometimes these are just temporary!
My dream would be for Carol Burnett to be Letitia.
That logo looks like their Anything Goes logo. But... less evocative. Somehow.
This is a good vehicle for Chenoweth, even if she's really at the far end of the appropriate age bracket for the character.

I hope she's well-directed, because I definitely agree that she's almost too well-suited for the part.
Burnett would have been an interesting Primrose 15 years ago perhaps - although she hasn't played "daffy" in a long time. She's 81 now, and I would imagine way too frail to participate 100% in a show this physical.
Martin could act it certainly, but she can only sing in a rather small and low range; any trace of the comic-opera nature of Primrose's music would be lost.
Bringing Judy Kaye back as Primrose would have sentimental value, and she could sing it in the key written.

I'm not sure I understand what you guys mean about Cheno being to perfect for the role.

I agree, she has an average singing voice. Plus, she's starring in Noises Off so I don't think it will happen, especially if they extend this.
