"Who's That Woman?"
"The Dance at the Gym," "America"...anything West Side Story. Same for A Chorus Line.

Let's hear it for I GOT RHYTHM!
The corrugated tin - the mining pans - the saw - the bicycle pump - the plunger - the percussion on the miner's helmets...
The part where they've all been doing different things, then suddenly they come together and form a line across the stage, with their arms linked together, and do that step with the heads turning and the hands clapping - sheer heaven!
And then, when you think the number is almost over, they break apart for a whole new bunch of stuff!
"the speed test" - millie
"spanish panic" - once upon a mattress
"shipoopi" - music man
amerrrrrrrr -- ik -- ah! - west side story

I second anything from Hairspray. It's the only thing the music is good for: Radio's Top 40 Hits.
My favorite dance number, hands down, is "Snuff the Girl" from Urinetown
Voulez-Vous - MAMMA MIA!
You Can't Stop The Beat - HAIRSPRAY
Love Crazy - THE BOY FROM OZ
I would go with "our Favorite Son" from Will Roger Follies. I got to learn the original choreography and take it to competition with my dance company... We were 1 point away from getting a platinum!!
All I ever wanted was "the music and the mirror" and the chance to dance for you.

My overall favourite choreography is from HELLO,DOLLY followed by WEST SIDE STORY.
I also enjoyed the dance numbers in some of the Disney shows and some of the more recent musicals. Also, watch out for the choreography in the upcoming Broadway production of CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG.
For eye candy, while dancing - it will have to be Hugh in EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN ( The Boy from OZ)

Isn't that a direct rip-off of West Side Story's "Cool"?
I'll have to add "Love Crazy" to my list, not because it's spectacular in any way, but because it's just friggin' hilarious.
Rich Man's Frug - Sweet Charity
Hey Big Spender - Sweet Charity
Audition - 42nd Street
Go Into Your Dance - 42nd Street
42nd Street Ballet - 42nd Strret
We're in the Money - 42nd Street
One (Finale) - A Chorus Line
The Cassie Dance (Music and the Mirror) - A Chorus Line
The Montage - A Chorus Line
Take Off With Us (Airotica) - Fosse / All That Jazz
Steam Heat - Pajama Game
Dancin' Man - Fosse
Dance at the Gym - West Side Story
Cool - West Side Story
There's Gotta Be Something Better Than This - Sweet Charity
Our Favorite Son - Will Roger's Follies
I Got Rhythm - Crazy For You
I Can't Be Bothered Now - Crazy For You
Manson Trio - Pippin
The dancers in this show would have to have some serious technique and stamina!!!!
For those of you that got to see "Witches of Eastwick" in London...."DANCE WITH THE DEVIL" was absolutely amazing....and "THE BOMBY SAMBA" in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is great to!!! And of course SHAKALAKA BABY....know that one by heart!
The Speed Test, Forget About the Boy or 42nd Street.
Favorite Dance Number?
That's easy!!! :)
TITLE NUMBER from ON YOUR TOES.
It starts out slow, builds and builds to a frenzied climax where 50 men and women are tap dancing ALL ACROSS stage!
It's also QUITE LONG--I believe OVER EIGHT MINUTES!
A landmark achievement in Broadway choreography from 1937 that was superbly recreated in 1987.
Anything from Pippin or Fosse & Footloose
I would have thought Le Jazz Hot would be your number one choice Victoria!
PS. Mary Ethel, I loved that revival of ON YOUR TOES and that dance number was stunningly fun.
