Hair is going in there. The visit? please.
I would absolutely love if the cast of Signature's Kiss of the Spiderwoman were reunited.

Ha, right. I'm sure "The Visit" will come to Broadway now. It's in current state. There are so many successes this season. Hell, "In The Heights" would have closed months ago if it didn't win the dang Tony.
Wow this show just opened recently too. I would have thought Grease would be the next to go.
Natalie Toro can take comfort in her Carole King CDs.
I did not say and did not mean that THE VISIT would go into TALE'S theatre. There is a history behind my statement that has to do with a cast member of ATOTC. Some here know what I'm talking about.
And, BTW, I am not "cheering" the close of this show. I did not see it and have absolutely no opinion about it. Friends of mine who saw it liked--even loved it. I trust their opinion.
At the same time, I would really love to see THE VISIT open on Broadway. I DID see this show and believe it belongs on Broadway.
Grease made a lot of money each week and had high grosses till recently, the producers will know that the holidays will boost the sales
Dang...wanted to see this one.
Any possible chance of a cast album?
Hope to see it before it goes (eyes glued to papering sources)!

Aww man... I had won tickets to see this in December from the Broadway flea market. I was kind of afraid this would happen.
Saw the show tonight and was devastated when they announced it after the show.
What a shame.
I really wanted the CD with James Barbour belting out the songs. Now I will have to be content with the Concept album.

Disagree with you but you are entitled to your opinion.
We were there tonight as well, and it was very bittersweet, when James Barbour announced the closing to the audience.
Sad.
I was really taken aback when he said it, and it sounded like a lot of the audience was too. I heard a lot of positive buzz leaving the theatre, which, for the most part, seemed heavily comped.
I'm depressed! This was one of the few "new" musicals that came out that I have reall ever actually looked forward to. Luckily saw it in previews, and will be seeing it again on the closing! Best to the cast!

Doesn't look like I'll be able to see this. Sad.
Natalie Toro was visably shaken up tonight during the curtain call.
To Catherine Missal - dont ever change !!! You are a Godsend, and everyone should be as sweet as you !!! (at any age !!!)
Best of luck to you always !
I am VERY sad to hear that this show is closing, logging on to here and seeing that did take away the happy feeling I got after this election.
I think that they should have given it some more time to see if they could have gotten some boost off of tourist sales. I mean, tourist season is just around the corner so it isn't like they would have been having to wait long.
