Last Wednesday, I saw Tina Maddigan outside the Marquis Theater around the Drowsy Chaperone lottery time. I then saw her after the show, standing outside waiting for friends and then at the stage door. Donna Murphy was also there and went backstage through the stage door.

Norbert leaving 2nd Stage after seeing The Little Dog Laughed with his family.
Cyndi Lauper getting out of a cab (actually a car service Town Car) at 79th Street yesterday.
I always see Michael Cerveris when I'm wlaking down 8th avenue after class.
Hunter Foster, Megan Hilty- Starbucks
In one day on one street I saw Merwin Foard, Alexander Gemignani, Bradley (from Project Runway), and Jenn Gambatese.
My friends and I were walking to the Hirschfeld to get our tickets to TWS and I saw Matt Saldivar standing on the corner, smoking...I didn't say anything until we were at the Box Office and I saw him walk past to the stage door...then leaving the theatre, we saw Amy Spanger in all her fierceness walking past us...my friend said, "Is that...?" and I said right back, "Yeah..."

Random...the other day I saw Rebbeca Luker on the subway going uptown. I think she was coming from a show. When I saw Caroline or Change, Sutton Foster walked by and I was in line behind Edward Albee. THen I get to my seat and who is sitting in the back row of the theatre all by himself? Mark Summers RANDOM!

This may seem kind of dumb, but how do people in current Broadway shows, get to see the other ones? Did Michelle have to take time off from her show to see Festen?

They may have a different schedule from the show that they see.

YEah some shows have performances on Mondays or sunday nights. THen there are special performances like the actor's fund and such. I must say that when you're doing a show there really isn't time to see much.

I saw Michelle in May... I believe she was an U/S for Three Days of Rain and that theatre was right across the street from The Music Box where Festen was.
I know they're allowed to be in a certain radius of the theatre. Plus, we were right near DRS which is where Norbert would've been :)
A couple of weeks ago, Gary Sinise walking down 44th St.
Gary Beach I see all the time!
Wednesday night, at Chicago:
Sally Field and guest, sitting in her seat during intermission, nicely indulging the people asking for autographs while trying to stay low-key. She was offered to be taken somewhere else during intermission, but she declined. Class act!
Then there's John Travolta and Kelly Preston, who I believe sat in front of Sally at the same show. Silence as he was escorted in before the start of the show, the whole audience turned and looked. Then, at intermission, he was rushed out, totally distracting the applause at the end of act one. As intermission ended, as the ensemble made their entrance before the entracte, John and Kelly were escorted back...so there was nary any applause for the ensemble. So of course, me being the theatrefag first row center, I start applauding really loud and raising my hands above my head to get some attention back towards the stage.
Damn you, Travolta! On another note, I was thinking...Kelly Preston would be a great Roxie!
Also that night, Barrett Foa and Celia Keenan-Bolger (and someone else I couldn't see), at Thalia post-show.

I saw Michelle and Norbert in June at the Jacobs/Golden/Majestic stage door. I think that was because of Three Days of Rain as well. They came out a few minutes later and headed towards the Imperial. I talked to them for a minute before they left. They are a cute couple.
I remember seeing Gregory Hines at the register at Tower Records near Lincoln Center. I remember seeing Sid Caeser in the audience of Red Buttons on Broadway about 10 years ago.

I was outside John's Pizzaria (across from the Majestic in NYC) and I saw Richard Griffths trying to get in to some door and then like 10 minutes later he came out and went into a car and drove off. It was funny cause I was freakingout but trying to keep it low-key.
I Want More!
I saw Phantom last night, and while I was waiting by the stage door on 45th st, I could sware that Shoshana Bean walked into that alley. Anyone know what shes doing in the city now?

I went to see A CHORUS LINE yesterday and saw Terrence Mann leaving with Charlotte and their 2 children. I saw him and said, "Hey, that's Terrence Mann." Then I told Charlotte she was amazing (which she was) and she thanked me...so nice.
The only thing I can remember about Les Miz in 1987 was that James Earl Jones was there sitting on the aisle next to his wife.
