I first said that I liked her performance and added that other people believe so as well. You have turned this into some crazy anti-Glee witch hunt. If you feel they were undeserved nominations maybe you should write to the nomination committee with your concerns instead of complaining on here. Just a suggestion. Take it or leave it.

LOL! Why should they?
This is a message board. A place to voice your support AND your opposition - maybe you should write your own gushing letter to the committee, about Glee, instead of posting it on here. Just a suggestion.
I bet you Morrison did in fact get nominated for the recent episode in which he found out his wife wasn't pregnant. I think the voting process for the TV Globes is similar to the Emmys in that one episode only is submitted for the voters' consideration. It's usually the episode the actor/producers feel is best representative of said actor's work. That's why you always see the same clips at awards ceremonies, and that's why often undeserving people get nominated over others, who have done better work throughout the course of the season.
"Jane Lynch as Spencer's schizo mom on Criminal Minds, the lesbian dog trainer, the porn star turn folk singer, the 50 year-old virgin, Charlie's therapist, and Sue Sylvester are all the same?"
"Yes... they are."
Let's not forget the role of Gayle Sweeney in the movie ROLE MODELS.
Jane was also on Veronica Mars as someone who wanted the popular kids to win (and blackmailed, if I remember correctly), and was in the first season of Gilmore girls where she was berated by Kelly Bishop.
spider- I think you are the only person who thinks of Castle that highly. Isn't more like a dramedy a la Boston Legal? Keep note I have never seen more than an episode but I liked Filion in Firefly/Serenity.
I don't get the divide between Glee and Modern Family - both are entertaining as hell. If you can't see the sheer JOY in Glee, then maybe you need to look at yourself. The acting isn't the greatest, and not all the songs hit, but the writing is strong and the show can be VERY funny.
Anyone bashing Modern Family - you just don't get comedy and I don't respect your opinion. Period.
I agree. Although my mom and I were discussing how some people LOVE Glee while she thinks it is really enjoyable to watch but isn't obsessed. We love the songs and the plot is kind of weird but I am still a huge fan of Glee!
As spork mentions, the writing is actually the WORST part of it. Both the acting and music/production numbers are leagues above the writing....and that's saying something.
Although it shouldn't surprise me that there are some people who actually think this.
I think certain elements of the writing in Glee are strong. They have a knack for coming up with amazing one liners, plus many of the more dramatic scenes tend to be written well imo
The storylines as a WHOLE can get pretty weak writing-wise, I definitely don't disagree with that. All the pregnancy stuff was getting rather ridiculous, and there are some fairly significant plot holes.
But.. the writing definitely has its moments. Again, especially when it comes to hysterical one liners :)
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
snl89, you're really killing me here. How do I take this seriously? This has got to be a freaking joke.

OK, give me some examples. I could easily give you specific examples (as could Phyllis) pointing out how the writing is awful/weak/unbelievable/dreadful/etc. Now let's hear these one liners you're talking about. I watch every single episode and have no idea what you're talking about. Really...I don't.
