Loretta Devine (she should have been Big Mama in the recent "Cat" revival)
Brenda Blethyn (won't someone cast her as Amanda in a Glass Menagerie revival?)
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
Broadway? Peters, Block I agree with- Thompson especially.
Additionally, Allison Fischer, Hunter Foster, Jessie L. Martin, Adam Pascal, Drew Sarich, Nikki Renee Daniels, Adam Wylie and Molly Ephraim. A lot of them have only really had one-hit wonders or have only a few notable credits and would really love to see more of them.
It wouldn't hurt to see Joel Gray, Betty Buckley and Ben Vereen take a stab at Broadway again.
Film-wise though I feel like it's such a crime Fairuza Balk doesn't get nearly enough work. She's done some great films and is a great actress in my opinion.
Recent Broadway and Off-Broadway:: Carrie, Merrily, Ionescopade
Next On The List :: Clybourne Park, Once, Streetcar, BOM
"I believe that art does not exist only to entertain, but also to challenge one to think, to provoke, even to disturb, to engage in a constant search for the truth."
- Barbra Streisand
I completely agree with Molly Ephraim. She was great in Into the Woods then she had a very very small part in Fiddler on the Roof and haven't heard of her since.
I have to say I would love to see Christian Borle doing something. love him!
and Beth Leavel. love her to death!
<--- the set of A Midsummer Night's Dream that I was assistant stage manager for during the 2007 season at the STNJ outdoor stage.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~
