She seems so stolid to me. It's hard to imagine her with the proper girlish charm. If she were a movie actress I'd put her more in the Julia Stiles track than the Kirsten Dunst track.
She's aloof, not impolite. Stagedoor is something she doesn't enjoy, I can't imagine THAT will change any. It's not part of the show, OR going to be in contract....so not much they can (or will) do.
Of course, we don't know if this will ACTUALLY open or not -- but it does seem to be more of a possibility at this point.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
The pairing of her and Reeve Carney will be interesting. Jenn is loud. Carney is well... not. It makes me think of a mac truck running over a tiny puppy.
jenn has always been super sweet at the stage door to all those waiting. she makes conversation, signs and takes pictures with whomever asks. i'm excited for her to move on to this role and think that is where the focus should be, not on if she'll stage door or not.
I don't really think you can say she's always been super sweet to all those waiting. I mean, people get these reputations for a reason. Lea Michele wasn't a horrible hosebeast to me, and I've even heard stories of her being a true sweetheart, but...I can't take that and apply it across the countless stories that implied otherwise.
I don't actually care, though. Shouldn't be any prerequisite for considering someone for a role. A lot of people do confuse uncomfortable and aloof with being horribly rude, also.
