Apparently the first people to get on line did so at around 11PM last night. Anyone know how many tickets they ended up releasing?
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

thismyshow, you're on my sh*t list for good now. I was about to head up there this morning at 6:30 when I read your post so I didn't bother. If you weren't sure how many tickets they were giving out you shouldn't have said that.
I hope someone who's going can provide a link afterwards. Updated On: 9/19/11 at 04:11 PM
Yeah, thank goodness I didn't read this awful thread before I went. But now I can use it to discuss how wonderful the line was, and how knowledgeable and giving Gavin Creel was with the gay marriage and the munchkins...and I just happened to be wearing a Hair shirt which he did a photo op with (not me, the shirt) Dustin Lance Black was there too, and he was just delightful. It was a delightful experience and it totes payed off. But once again, if one more person had been in front of me, I wouldn't have gotten this ticket so actually horray for this thread!
@rogueduck as someone who stood and watched when they cut of tickets hundreds of people did not get tickets, id say maybe 65-70 and most of the seats were extreme left and right in the back mezz
Jordan, you know I love you and I completely agree that people shouldn't post hearsay, but you could have gone and investigated yourself this morning.

I stayed over at someone else's place last night and wasn't in the neighborhood. If I didn't have to get up at 6am and make my way up there I wasn't going to.
I didn't realize you weren't in the neighborhood. In that case, I get your frustration.

I woke up extremely early to get tickets...and then got on the wrong subway because I was practically sleepwalking. They cut the line about ten people in front of me. If I would've made the right subway, I'd have seen the show. Oh well. Dustin Lance Black was shaking hands with everyone who was waiting, which was nice. And Gavin Creel gave out donuts. I'm really sad I'm missing this, but something tells me this won't be the last we'll hear of this play.
