We have tickets to see THE BOOK OF MORMON- but, looking for other suggestions of shows to see... How would you rank the following shows next to eachother: ONCE, GHOST, COCK, NEWSIES, WAR HORSE... (also, if you have seen the show, mention ideal seating!

Thanks!

Haven't seen Cock:

1.) Once - it's in a small intimate theatre and apparently apart from a few seats that are sold as horribly obstructed, everything seems good.
2.) War Horse - not a bad seat in the house, a beautiful place to see a show.
3.) Newsies - Avoid rear orchestra or extreme sides because the set is tall.
4.) Ghost - Avoid extreme sides. (but really, avoid at all costs!)

Once
War Horse
Newsies

I haven't seen Cock but heard mostly good things.
I haven't seen Ghost but have heard mostly negative things.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Once
War Horse
Newsies
Ghost
(I liked it more than most, but the other three are admittedly better)

I haven't seen Cock, but I've heard great things. On my list!

I recommend Nice Work If You Can Get It...and out of the shows you mentioned, I only saw Once and I disliked it.

Newsies- ok
Ghost- cheesy but acceptable
War Horse- spectacular staging but a downer

Avoid the other two like the plague.

Far better options: One Man, Nice Work, Anything Goes.
