Well, looks like I'll be returning to the Kit Kat Club. She really wants to play this role, I'm happy it all worked out. I think she'll be absolutely brilliant!

Does this mean Cabaret is closing on March 29, 2015? On roundabouts website it now says "Closes: March 29, 2015". I don't ever remember it saying "Closes:". Will it extend again?
Of course it will extend again. I wish they would stop saying "Extended again" as if they're trying to fool us into thinking that this is some sort of a limited run.
Immediately grabbed a ticket for her second week. I can not contain my excitement!
I imagine they have tentative plans to close it in March, but if sales are strong and they get another "name" interested in a part, then they could easily extend. Unless they have another show already planned for 54, that is.
Jordan, what's even stranger about them doing that is the Playbill article even calls the production a "limited engagement".
I suppose they could make a big deal of later announcing it's an open-ended run. But if the point of the revival was to add some cash to the coffers, it will have to run for a few years to truly accomplish that. Playbill Link
I think considering it a limited engagement and continuing to announce extensions in spurts is a good way to keep the show at the top of the radar. Even if it is eventually going to become open-ended, Roundabout probably doesn't want to give that away too soon.
It should obviously run for the rest of time simply for my personal benefit.
Does roundabout drop the "one viewing per show" rule when they have an open ended run? I already used my pair of Hiptix Gold tickets for this production, but considering its not going anywhere any time soon, and I now essentially stuck with just what they put up at the American Airlines?

I might be crazy...but wasn't Anything Goes always billed as a commercial run? I don't recall there being a closing date when they started. But I could be wrong!

So excited for this!! Quick question: I'm going to NYC over Thanksgiving. Do you guys think that Emma Stone will still perform the night before Thanksgiving or are there typically understudies around holidays?
Anything Goes opened in January of 2011 and was supposed to run until October(?) of that year and was extended until January. It was extended other times until it was supposed to close in Pctober of 2012 but couldn't make it there and closed on July 8th, 2012.
