A long life, but still sad. Definitely a time to rewatch GUESS WHO’S COMING TO DINNER; three legends.

My favorite Sidney Poitier year has got to be 1967

"In the Heat of the Night"

"Guess Who's Coming to Dinner'"

'67 was maybe one of the greatest single years of an acting career in movie history.

Rest in Power, Mr. Younger.

Wow those were all in 1967? I never even realized. He could've quit right there but thankfully he didn't. RIP

A legendary, excellent actor. His films were groundbreaking. I remember being in the musical adaptation of A Raisin in the Sun in high school. One of my favorite (among many) of Poitier's films. May he rest in paradise,as Sutton said.

I had the opportunity to meet him briefly on a film I worked on, that he produced. He was just as gracious and considerate as you might imagine. One of the high points of my film work.

Bless up Duppy Conqueror. R.I.P.
