Hi! I'm new here, But i've been watching the board for a while. And I read the post about Sr. quotes, didnt find "the perfect quote" and I need mine by October 17th, and I want it having to do with theatre or acting (That's what I plan to do) or hopefully a musical...and who better to ask than all of you!

So if any of you would please post all the best quotes about theatre or acting or the stage or from musicals, anything and everything would be really awesome! Thank you all for your hellp!

Yes, I find many of the quotes from "Into the Woods" to be quite clever:

"The woods are just trees. The trees are just wood."

"Every knot was once straight rope."

I'm going to print this thread & stick it in my quote journal. Great stuff.

ITW has been mentioned...but not my favorite line from it - "Best to take the moment present as a present for the moment."
