OMG. So, they were just on, I"m sure there's a post about it somewhere, but this is a bit different I think. The whole cast is adorable. First, Katie Couric was standing between Adam and, now of course I can't remember, but the camera was on Katie, so it cut off the other twos' heads. So, all the sudden, you see these big white teeth, and then the rest of Adam's face in the shot. He was grinning frfom ear to ear, and it was just so cute! Then Rosario was standing there the whole time looking like she was ready to bust from excitement, or something. And of course, Idina and Taye... She kept sneaking looks at him while they were singing, not sneaking actually, but like, full blown turning her head. They were all very cute.
i missed most of it too emcee. luckilly i was setting up my regis and kelly tape and caught the performance but missed the interview. hell i don't even have class till 11 and i got up!
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell

Hm, I think Em was in her apartment, but there in spirit of course. It was quite a surprise to find that the whole cast was on. As Up in Lost said, right at the beginning there was a close-up of Katie Couric introducing the segment, and Adam was right behind her. He flashed this "I'm so excited" grin that was really funny.
She spread the questions around more to people who hadn't talked during their first appearance, so Tracie and Adam both spoke, as well as Jesse and Rosario. It was the usual stuff, but great to see them all there.
Katie asked if there were concerns about the show being dated, and Adam replied that while some specific details were tied to a certain time and place, the message was timeless and still relevant today.
Does the Today Show put their clips online by chance?
I was even awake at the time too, damn me for not turning on my television.
"You just can't win. Ever. Look at the bright side, at least you are not stuck in First Wives Club: The Musical. That would really suck. "

So I have a TV in my room and I accidently left it on last night fallin asleep. I started to hear SOL and I woke up instantly. I would've set my alarm 4 this one-but no one told me O well at least I got to see it. The whole cast was so cute-especially that thing w/Adam. Now I'm sittin here watchin Regis and Kelly, waiting 4 Jesse to come on...
I taped it and I just watched it! This is what Adam said: "The specifics are reletive to a place and a time, but the universal themes are certainly more timeless, so it speaks to an audience today as well is it did." Not exactly what he said but you get the idea, he kept studdering, and pausing, it was cute lol. They sounded really good when they sang Finle B.
Also right before they were on there was a new preview for Rent I hadn't seen before. It had Out Tonight in the background and the background guy was saying what critics were saying about the movie:
RENT is: Sheer exhileration Show Stopping Moving Electrifying Thrilling Breathtaking Stunning Amazing A Major Movie Event
They all sounded really great. It was refreshing to hear something other that SOL. Was I the only one who thought is was going to be only Jesse on the show? What a plaesant suprise. Did anyone else catch what Adam did while Katie Couric was talking? I ws laughing for the longest time. I love Adam! By the way, they all looked HOT!!
