Well I DID like it when it was in previews. There were a lot of problems with the book and the flow and whatnot. But the music, visual aspects, and the actors were all magnificant, and that was enough to make me love the show.
I don't see myself not liking the show if they haven't changed the cast, the music and the visual style. Thats all.
Playbill has an article about all the revamping they did on the show since the SF run. It is supposed to be much much better. I am going in July. I wanted close seats and it was sold out until them.

of breaths we take, but by moments
that take our breath away."
"Life isn't about how to survive the storm,
but how to dance in the rain."
I know people who are seeing it tonight, but I'll be seeing it on the 31st. :) Very, VERY excited for this ... especially since I'm about half-way through the book The Vampire Lestat now.
Ha! I wish I could go...I HAD tickets for the 24th (yesterday) but, of course, they had to cancel it! DAMN
Back, he spurred like a madman, shrieking a curse to the sky. With the white road smoking behind him and his rapier brandished high! Blood-red were the spurs i' the golden noon; wine-red was his velvet coat, when they shot him down on the highway, down like a dog on the highway, and he lay in his blood on the highway, with the bunch of lace at his throat...

I'll be curious to read posts on the previews and compare Lestat to when I saw it in San Francisco. However, that was so long ago -- before Christmas -- so I hope I'll remember how it was originally.
I'm wary about how much I want to know. I'll hopefully be seeing in the summer. The thing is, that's so far off, and I figure I'll know it all by then anyway some way or another.
I enjoyed DRS more than any of the other shows that I saw on that trip. And I think it was because I was totally fresh to the show.
