nope- were sticking with fANADUs . Were not going to change the name every 5 mins besides we are not going to get established if we do that ..and besides that's Puff Daddy ! You could say the same thing to all the groups too !
Really.. but no offense but I read your whole thread and it seems to me that you keep inserting Xanadu fans & insinuating something??? I dont know as to why ? We have not done anything bad or mean towards you... **************** You originated a thread asking : Who's the creepiest group?
then you answered it later with:
The Fanadu's already freaking me out a bit. Because they are almost like the Wicked fan girls. But they are adult men. lol. **************** or could it be your just missing a starr on your name? Its good that no one took your bait and the thread's direction went several ways !
Well, I just got the first official Xanadu newsletter, and it looks like the name has stuck, small "f" and all!
And I quote:
"Come celebrate 4th of July week with XANADU on Broadway. With this exclusive fANADU Club (that's you) offer available for performances thru July 8 only. Tickets regularly priced at $111.25* are just $49.00!!"
Oh, and congrats to WonderRobbie!
"It's smarter to be lucky than it's lucky to be smart."
No matter if its a Xanadu fans or Wicked Fans or Phantom fans or Pirate Queen fans .Everyone is entitled to express their own "love" to a particular show .
BTW-This whole website wont get a lot of postings, if not for people who call "obsessive" (that includes You & I )
"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer
"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher
The fan boys can be called the Xanadudes and the fan girls can be called the Xanadudettes. Cool, huh?

Winner announced! SHARE YOUR XANADU Contest Yields Glory.
On Mt. Olympus today, Zeus instructed Hermes to pronounce the winner of the first ever Share Your Xanadu contest. Though spectators found Hermes stern proclamation to be somewhat frightening, the message was pure sweetness. "His voice sounded all echoey and Sean Connery-ish, but the news was delightful," a vacationer to Mt. Olympus recalled. The mortal rewarded for his interpretation of the art of dance, to the song Xanadu by Electric Light Orchestra, was none other than the super fANADU, WonderRobbie
WonderRobbie
The young earthling, reported to be blessed with "wonderously dashing looks and a fine blithe spirit...like that of a brave deer" (passerby), has offered many creative videos inspired by Xanadu on Broadway as of late, but one in particular garnered him the prize. "It was simply breathtaking, a true work of art", says a production insider, of WonderRobbie's interpretive dance. Pegasus will be delivering the prize, 2 premium tickets to see Xanadu on Broadway, to WonderRobbie's home in New York City.
Share Your Xanadu is a contest in which fANADU's submit links to video recordings of themselves or friends expressing themselves creatively without abandon, in an effort to share what Xanadu means to them. The next Share Your Xanadu contest begins July 11th, 2007. Xanadu Insider Quote of the Week:
"It's like taking ecstasy in Broadway ticket form." -- James Wolcott, Vanity Fair, on the experience of seeing Xanadu on Broadway recently. Reminder:
Xanadu's Opening Night is Next Tuesday, July 10! Olivia Newton-John arrives in Xanadu July 10th for opening night. Come to the theater to see her in!!!

Personally I think most group names for the fans of musicals are pretty lame and often too contrived. Plus they usually come with a lot of negative connotations which is why I stopped wanting to be referred to as a renthead and then slowly backed out of all musical group fan names. It's dangerous to associate yourself with a specific group when you don't have control over what other "groupies" are doing under the same banner of fandom as I found out with Rent.
