This is what? Your third thread? Fourth thread?
Ok. This is honestly ridiculous with all of the Les Mis closing night threads. Can we all agree from now on that we will post in currently existing threads about the Les Mis closing. I'm going and am extremely excited, but let's just chill a bit with these threads.
See you there!
Enough with Les Mis. HIP HIP HOORAY! Your'e going. You want that carved on your grave? "Went to Les Mis's revival on closing night!"
I'm saving my money for the opening night of the next revival in three years.
What the hell?

Mention all the replacement principals but not Ben Davis or Mandy Bruno?
Classy.

Mention all the replacement principals but not Ben Davis or Mandy Bruno?
One possible explanation:
They are not mentioned by name but are included "among others".
p.s. Or another: Mistakes happen!

The musical currently features ... Adam Jacobs as Marius
During the run, the cast included Adam Jacobs (as the original Marius).
Disregarding short illness or vacation, isn't Adam Jacobs the only principal never replaced?
Others in the same basic role from beginning to end:
James Chip Leonard -- Bishop
Kylie Liya Goldstein and Carly Rose Sonenclar -- Young Cosette
[I'd like to include Brian D'Addario in this list, but he's gone fishing.]
p.s. Not to mention Haviland Stillwell and some other Ensemble members.
Gary Beach was never really replaced, Chip Zien just filled in for him while he was out for a while.
Ensemble members who've stayed in the same roles: Dan Bogart (Bamatabois/Combeferre), Doug Kreeger (Jean Prouvaire), Jeff Kready (Babet), James Chip Leonard (Bishop/Claquesous), Haviland Stillwell (Factory Girl), Becca Ayers, Idara Victor, Matt Clemens (swing), Q. Smith (swing), Marissa McGowan (swing).
Drew Sarich (as a replacement Javert), Wouldn't you think Drew would have been noted as playing Valjean instead of Javert? I mean Valjean is the biggest role in the show.

True. Disregarding short illness or vacation
Chip Zien was already mentioned in the article as a Thenardier replacement.
p.s. Karen Elliott and Stephen Trafton?
Karen Elliott joined the show as a replacement for Soara-Joye Ross. Stephen Trafton was a swing for most of the run, but he's closing the show as Courfeyrac because Don Brewer switched to Grantaire.
Edit: And MotorTink, I think it must be a typo, because Drew was never a replacement Javert. He was an understudy.

I'll be there in 2 hours to see it!
I know there were many flaws with the revival, but I actually enjoyed this show and would have liked to see it again. The first time, I saw it, which was many years ago, I was bored. Not to mention it was a school production. Au revoir (again!), Les Mis!
Wasn't Drewbee an official replacement Javert for that short period of time after Ben Davis was fired and before he was offered Valjean?
Gosh, that seems like soooo long ago. Remember when everyone would get all excited when Aaron was out a night (or two or three or four)? I remember that thread...'List Les Miz Cast Changes Here!' ... and back in June that show was a total trainwreck. Good times, man.
After the firings the Javert and Eponine understudies rotated in the roles until official word was given on replacements--and Rob was the replacement Javert even before Drew was offered Valjean.
I do remember those days. The schadenfreude when Aaron was injured was one of my first experiences with Drew's fans, actually.

Actually it was the other way around. Karen Elliott opened with the revival but left shortly on medical leave. Soara-Joye Ross was her temporary (but lengthy) replacement until Karen was well enough to return.
I was there the first closing night. I'm so sorry it's closing again My favorite show of all time.
Now it's LES MIZ movie time!!! *lol*
