Tyne Daly gave me a crystal at the flea market last year. She was pretty adamant about it. She placed it in my hand really firmly. Maybe I have the devil inside of me or something?
Most of it is Musicals but Plays have tables as well. It's a little bit of everything. There are a lot of booths where you can buy old Playbills and posters and other cool stuff.
When "Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune" was playing their table had beer bottles and milk cartons used props from the show signed by Edie Falco and Stanley Tucci for sale for $10.00.
Does Bernadette usually show up? I know she has in past years...
And how exactly does the photo booth work? Do you wait in line and can you request anyone from the celebrity table to join you in the photo booth and they just do it?
I'm not too clear on the whole photo booth thing.
"Somethin's comin', I don't know what it is but it is gonna be great!"
I saw Bernadette at the tables last year later in the day. I'm not sure how the photo booth works either, but apparently you have to pay extra for a picture.
The photo booth is kind of confusing. It is $10 to get a picture with someone. And you kind of stand around the area and each hour they go around asking who everyone wants a picture with and do a tally. The people with the most tallies get asked to go to the picture booth, and then you pay the money to get a picture with them. Not everyone goes to the photo booth. Last year, I really wanted a picture with Paige Davis but she didn't have enough people who wanted her.
"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife
You weren't alone ashley0139. I requested Paige Davis each of the last two years for the photo booth.
Hopefully if the Boeing Boeing rumors are true, she will make another appearance this year.

The photo booth made a lot more sense before Juniors took over that restaurant space. The booth was on 45th street near the parking garage where Juniors now has an outdoor cafe. It also eased a lot of the traffic in Shubert Alley.
If you want someone special, ane there aren't enough people who request a particular person, try offering $20.00 instead of $10.00. (That's how I got a pic with Jesse L Martin and Anthony Rapp together---though it was more than $20!)
It would free up Schubert Alley space if they moved the photo booth back where it was in 2005, but it is easier to control where it is now.
I can't wait. I spend far too much money there but it's for a good cause.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Offering more money doesn't always work. I offered Josh Strickland a total of $50 to take off his shirt when I was photographed with him. He was just about to accept when he changed his mind and whispered something in my ear about "Disney".
