Jessica Lange got screwed out of that award by being miscategorized. American Horror Story is NOT a mini-series. -- Highlight so far was Tina and Amy's opening. Everything else about this show is a mess. One of the most poorly produced and directed GGs in recent memory. It's gonna be a long dull night! Zzzzzzzzzz.

I'm curious as to how one would direct these big messy awards shows to make them better? I mean, the structure itself just doesn't seem to lend itself to any creativity. Stand up, read the prompter, get up get your award, sit down, over and over again. Is there any, "other" format that would work better? The one thing I would change is all the schmaltzy unecessary "background" muzak. Hate the unseen announcer, too. Just chyron the names underneath. NO walk off music.

Sorry for double posting, but I am very happy for Jennifer Lawrence. She's a terrific actress. Also, I'm glad Kevin Costner won. I've admired his work for many years. And Kristin Wiig and Will Ferrell were both very funny.

Going from Bill Clinton's special appearance to Tina and Amy's reaction to the apperance to Will and Kristin's reaction to the appearance to Will and Kristin improving the nominee roles to Jennifer Lawrence's acceptance speech, with Tommy Lee Jones is not impressed in between, was non-stop laughter.
