Here's my favorite part - the price per barrel for crude oil is averaging a little more than 10 dollars LESS per barrel than this time last year!

$2.87. Apparently New Jersey's the only state with an average regular price under $3.00.

It really is quite disgusting what the gas companies are doing. Last summer it actually got under $2.00 here in Jersey.

We dipped down to $3.10 today, we were up at $3.39 mid-week.

It's sad that anything under $3.00 looks cheap to me.

I remember, back when I was in high school (which was not all that long ago!) gas was under a dollar. Those were the days....

$3.22 is the cheapest in Norwalk. It jumped something like 16 or 17 cents in 2 weeks. Disgusting.

Funny... I paid 3.03 on Friday again. I thought that was pretty expensive, as we've been paying around 2.80 since the summer ended, I'd say.

It's about $3.15 around here, but the E85 is about $2.80 so more people with compatible cars are buying that instead.

4.09 is messed up. I live in Manhattan, but I usually get gas from Bergen County, NJ, which is where my mom's house is. It's much cheaper..$3.13-3.18 for premium.

This is why there needs to be alternative fuels in the near future, so we can stop depending on foreign oil.

That's what you get for not buying American.

Like SOMMS and some others, I live in NJ, so we're paying around $2.90 now, and we never have to get out of our cars.

3.27 here in Norwalk. I feel like not much has changed since the last time I posted in this thread LAST YEAR!!!! But over the summer, gas had gone down to 2.79. I was thrilled!

Why is it cheapest in NJ? It's weird, considering the high cost of living in places like Bergen County and the fact that there's no self-service.
