I just watched this show for the first time tonight and I think I'm in love!!!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofuI never saw the show before, but I tuned in tonight because my friend's son had a cameo and his fiance is on it-I liked it! Of course, I'm not in on everything that's going on, but it's fun to see all the locations -I loved the subway scene!
Dude, the lack of Amanda this week was so depressing once again. Although the subway scene was pure genius.
Christina and Marc, however, made my night. "Think Project Runway! Those people make dresses out of corn husks!"
PS, Barrett Foa in a future guest star role as a love interest of Marc's? Yay or nay?
I'm catching up right now...and I just started tearing up when the father stood up for Justin in the subway and then told him he wanted to hear what happens to Tracy Turnblad. This show is amazing.
"I know you may be new to being a woman, but you're an old pro at being a BITCH!"
This show had so many brilliant moments tonite. My fave show on TV.
Wow! This show is so much fun! I saw the Broadway.com video, and I had heard a lot of good things about the show so I went to abc.com and watched the episodes they had there. Very funny! I actually laughed out loud many times which is rare for me with most TV shows. I missed tonight's episdoe (I had class) but tommorrow morning they will have posted the ep online and I'll watch it then. Yay! I have a new show! I had pretty much stopped watchin TV and now this.....

Yay Justin! The subway scenes were fantastic. Kudos for Santos for sticking up for his kid--I actually got choked up. I liked the entire episode.

Here's hoping for a fifth season...or longer.
Of course so many shows run out of plots fast (ie Sofia MJW, Alexis she-male...
Barret Foa on Betty???? OMG!!!!
Question-was Rebecca Romeijn a man to start out with and now had the sex change? I never saw the show before.
Jane2, yes. We only found out who the mystery woman was a couple of weeks ago.
Hey Sweetie! I knew Rebecca was new on the show (she's engaged to my friend's son) but I had no idea of the plot lines. thanks!
Hey there!! She was bandaged up from the very first episode, but the voice was initially provided by someone else. Originally I thought it was "Faye".
"Faye Wray? "
No, from the first episode we were lead to believe Rebecca's character was dead, and the women in the shadows was the old Editor In Chief: Fye Sommers, who died in a car crash. Only about 2 weeks ago did we find out that Rebecca's character- Daniel's older brother, who supposedly died in a ski accident, had infact, not died, but had faked his death and become a she. And she was setting up Daniel to fail along with Willy.

The illegal father plot seems to have taken a back seat. One moment they are getting ready to deport him and then they suddenly act like it's not a crisis.
Thanks Clumsy! I was only trying to make a joke with Faye Wray. Faye Wray was the female star in the original film of King Kong.

I got that.
"The beautiful blonde."
Oh, ok! I know that I"m a lot older than most around here, so sometimes I have to explain what I'm talking about!
Man I loved last nights episode! I loved how they paid homage to RENT (guy playing plastic bucket, the son swinging around on the subway while talking about Hairspray.) Fantastic!
Can we please not use the term "she he"?
The character Alexis is a transsexual.
ETA or "she male"

I'm sorry.
I was trying to make it easy to explain.
I don't watch Ugly Betty on a usual basis, but I watched it last night because I had nothing to do. I also saw part of the clip where the boy sings Good Morning Baltimore on the train. He was quite cute, & I liked his voice.

"I loved how they paid homage to RENT (guy playing plastic bucket"
That wasn't a homage to Rent; that's just the way NYC is. Guys playing plastic buckets were around years before Rent ever showed up. Rent just took a slice of New York life and put it on stage. Everything in Rent was happening years before it ever showed up on stage.
Why is it after like two weeks of new episodes, there are reruns?
Ugh.
Wonder when the next new episode airs
