Wednesday's episode, easily the best so far. Especially when paired with Part 1. I honestly have zero idea where any of this is going, and that's a great feeling.
"I must be the only one on here watching this and really enjoying it."
Nope. Loving every single sick and twisted minute of it! Even more so than last seaosn. For me, it's apponintment TV.

This season is ten times better than last season, which I loved. Lange is FANTASTIC. Genius, maybe.
And I did NOT see the Bloody Face twist coming...
I actually kinda love this season--but I really hope we don't get torture porn in the basement for more than one episode. I only saw the Bloody Face revelation coming because Murphy hates shrinks, and Quinto's character seemed too nice (which in this show means they are who you should fear).
I feel like I should have seen it coming, but it still surprised me (which I guess makes it a good twist).
That poor reporter - her life really got sent to hell, huh?

You might want to read this. No real spoilers, but I don't think you get your wish.
Vulture interview with Sarah Paulson
I thought Wednesday's show was great! I had no idea what the Bloody Face twist was going to be!
I love this show. I also think it's great that Jessica Lange is being introduced to a whole new generation that probably had no idea who she was. This may be the thing she's remembered for. It's like a showcase for her brilliance every week.

My favorite graph from the Vulture Thanksgiving week American Horror Story recap (spoilerish):
Elsewhere, Thredson is explaining his origin story to Lana. I know. A monster explaining how it got to be that way to a journalist: it's that Vanity Fair profile of Gwyneth Paltrow all over again. His whole deal is that he has abandonment issues and that's why he kills. Okay, one, we all have abandonment issues. Drink a bottle of two-buck chuck and listen to "Ooh Child," don't wear a mask made of skin and menace lesbians. Two, how bad can the foster care system be if you know how to make croque monsieur?
Nothing like a graphic rape to start things off with a bang.
Lana really just needs to give up.
The acting on this show is so astonishingly first rate (wonky New England accents aside), that it's such a pleasure to watch. It's one of those cases where I'll go anywhere with the story because the pleasure of watching this company is extraordinary.
I was blown away by Jessica Lange in this weeks eppie. She is so wonderful!! I didnt think it possible for her to improve on last year, but she has!
Poor Lana Banana.
I know. You really feel her fear and pain.
I am so, so, so upset about Grace. I know she'll still be on the show because Lizzie Brochere's in the main credits, but she was my second favorite character after Shelly. Two weeks in a row. Ugh.
And I second the notion of Lana's life sucking.
Lizzie is on this season of The Hour, as well.
Ryan Murphy hinted at something to do with her body. Perhaps Dr. Arden has his hand in that.
He'd better not. I've never been quite so repulsed and scared by a TV character. Hard to believe he was in Babe.
I was hoping there'd be some sort of reunion between him and Conroy this week. I admit, I'm still loving the show even if some plot elements (like Sarah's character returning to Briarcliff) seem like they're meant to shock, and yet seem so obvious.
I wasn't shocked by her (utterly inevitable) return to Briarcliff...but I did laugh and applaud. Alone. On my couch.
I should probably get out more.
Am I the only one who thinks Zachary Quinto has pretty good thrust for a bottom?
I can make a game..outta anybody's name!
Yeah, the name game is always a good time! Nice change up in that show.
Can't wait for Sister Jude to get her solo at Regionals.
