Chloe finally has a new segment for her gag reel.
(That was for you, Robbie!)
Okay, between the aliens, zombies, demon possession, sexual assault and forced amputation last week, I thought that had gone as far as possible. Anne Frank? Really.
Aliens, demonic possession, and all sorts "real life" horrors and evils, yes. But I don't see zombies. Are you referring to the creatures being fed in the woods? My take on them is that they're the doctor's failed medical experiments. Sort of an homage to the Island of Dr. Moreau. Am I off the mark?
They looked like zombies to me! Hopefully next week we get zombie Ann Frank.

Dear Kitty,
This show is the worst.

I woulda thought it was audacious if I hadn't read Philip Roth's "The Ghost Writer" back in nineteen-hundred and seventy-nine.

That was James Cromwell's son in the flashback. At first I thought they just did some crazy ass make up on him, because he really looked just like him, but younger.
Dear Kitty,
Margot and Peter turned today. Beheadings for both. We learned the hard way with Mr. & Mrs. Van Daan - Bullets just aren't enough. After Father bit Mother last year I vowed to never let them come near me again. I fear this virus is becoming airborne and that I must stop it myself. It's been 28 days since my last entry. It will not be my last.
Yours (at least for now),
Anne
Good evening America. I am Chloe Sevigny.
It has recently come to my attention that I love braaaaaaains...
Thank you. I was rather proud of that.

It's outta the frying pan and into the fire for America's sweetlesbian.
And into children's nightmares go the legless zombie floozy. She's a zoozy.
Wherever Mark Consuelos is, his character was pretty much the only one who did not have some crazy sh!t happen.
And I had read about the lamp from this article who did not spoil who Bloody Face is, but spoiled about the lamp and the line about the teeth. The skull bowl was more disturbing than the lamp.

I haven't seen last night's show yet. Gonna watch it in a little while.
Eegads.......I guess we know who Bloody Face is now.
I adore this show for how bat SH*T lunatic it is. I howl every week. I do not that that is the sought-after response. But it works for me.
Question...those flashbacks to 'Anne Frank' and dreamy husband: what was the stylistic choice there? Dark Shadows? I never watched...so I'm just guessing.
I must be the only one on here watching this and really enjoying it. Yes it's insane but it has to be one of the more interesting shows on TV (along with Sons of Anarchy). The design, camera work and performances are fantastic and it's completely enjoyable. It's amazing how many on here seem to call it out yet watch each week, bit like The New Normal.
Oh...I think there's a lot fewer people hate-watching this than The New Normal. This is pulpy fun. And the cast is extravagantly overqualified for this...so it's a hoot!
I love it and am excited to see Quinto play a sinister villian again

Robbie, I thought they were going for early 80s Betamax camcorder.
I dunno, now that she's not really Anne Frank, those concentration camp flashbacks (despite the fact that James Cromwell most likely was there) seem even more gross and gratuitous.
I mainly think at this point I keep watching because it gives me something to talk about with my friends. It doesn't infuriate me nearly as much as last season did, but oddly, I feel like I was more invested in that season than I am in this one. To me, this is all too over the top and redonkulous to be scary.
In a recent interview, Ryan Murphy said that he's always been a fan of Lange's work, and feels proud of the drunk monologue she delivered a few episodes back, which he did especially for her because "no one has ever seen her play a drunk before." Is the man truly unaware of some of her major roles? (Streetcar, Blue Sky, etc)?
She's already set for season three. Wonder where/when that will be.
